Stayed here in August for 1 night. Room given had nice view, but toilet cistern was broken! and room was very basic for the price paid (approx £130 per night for 3pax) biggest issues were getting parking places and actually driving to and from the hotel. They share a turn off the main road into Arundel, with Mcdonalds drive through and a petrol station! You are a few miles out of Arundel itself, and having spoken to locals more or less daily the traffic into and out of the Mcdonalds, and to a lesser extent the road into Arundel turn into a gridlock for a number of hours each day- it literally doesnt move and if you have a meeting/wedding etc its a complete joke. The Premier inn is about 10 minutes walk away but although on the same main road they are away from The mcdonalds drive through and petrol station so traffic was far less of an issue here - at least the traffic moved although slow... Previous night stayed at the Travelodge about 3 miles away and had no issues at all, a bigger better room, and no traffic problems, and all for exactly a third of the price-so AVOID COMFORT INN, although staff were pleasant here.

We stayed here a week ago for one night. It is a very welcoming hotel, at A27/A284 Crossbush, Arundel and very near to the town. The staff were excellent and helpful, our room was clean and spacious and the bathroom was immaculate. The wifi was of a very good standard and our breakfast was amazingly good - plenty of choice and lots of hot food and drinks. It is best to drive into the town and park in one of the many reasonably priced car parks unless your stay is very short. LIttlehampton is also not far away and we had a very pleasant drive down there too.

Stayed here as going to Goodwood, though like all hotels near by the price was higher than normal, some hotels were charging silly money. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a very good size, There were some little touches for a 3 * bottles of water, haribos, biscuit on the coffee/tea try. Good to see the hairdryer out of the bathroom and next to a mirror. Okay the bathroom isn't stunning but lots of space to put stuff. Good shower warm towels. Clean. Breakfast was included and again for 3* was very good, The hotel was full but when we came down, it was neat tidy everything was there. Bearing in mind where the hotel is placed it is very quiet. We enjoyed staying there

The hotel seems to be in a strange position but proves to be in a very peaceful setting. Every member of staff relaxed and friendly. Breakfast a bargain for £5 if booked when checking in. Group of friends all over 65 but walked down to the castle, enjoyed the shops, had dinner and walked back to the bar in the Comfort Inn. Everything clean and tidy and good value for money.

We stayed here for 1 night with a last minute booking. The hotel had everything we needed and was clean and quiet. Good room size. The location was good for us, close to town and coast by car and walkable distance to Arundel. Staff were a feature of the hotel. Every member of staff we encountered was polite friendly and helpful. Obviously you would hope this is always the case in every hotel but I think they were a cut above. Good breakfast for a very good price with staff continually checking and refilling food items, clearing away etc. Would recommend and would certainly use again for a short break.

We stayed here when attending a wedding locally , the room was a bog standard budget hotel, there was no air con and room was very stuffy , shower was very dated, this is not a cheap budget £104 a night a discounted rate !!!!! We got back from our function and went to the bar for a nightcap we had one and went to get another before retiring only to be told the bar was CLOSED!!!! But the worst was to come Breakfast , there was was lack of cutlery, crockery , waiting for a cup and saucer to get a coffee, the scrambled eggs were floating on a pool of water, bacon immersed in fat, we gave up waiting for the tomatoes to be replenished, the toaster was slow to toast , the staff could do with some more training .We wished we had gone into town and found a basic cafe were there would be a choice of breakfast and freshly cooked not congealing in a steamer, we will not be back

Stopped for 2 nights last week, can confirm the comments about aircon but hey this is England not Spain, the hot weather was exceptional. Comfortable bed, bedroom and bathroom needs updating, Buffet/cooked breakfast at £5 if you pay the night before (£7 on the morning) is good value, quality not great but eat as much as you like! Plenty of car parking on site and just off the bypass. You can walk into or back from town in 30 minutes but not the best road to walk along, reception will call a local taxi for you and just over a fiver, its worth it. Can also confirm you cannot hear any traffic noise with windows open at the back of the hotel where we stayed.

Must say I wasn't looking forward to staying here as husband had booked it without doing much research but it was very good. Had a fast and efficient check in and room was very clean and functional. Breakfast was good for the price. Our second night was a scorcher and must say the room was very warm with no fan or air con but we coped and it didn't keep us awake. We ate at the Beefeater on both nights as it was handy, we tried to get served at the Black Rabbit on our first night but that was an impossibility with only two people serving and a very full garden. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here while visiting the Festival of Speed at Goodwood. Good base, not far from Goodwood. Rooms are spacious, tea/coffee/bottled water. Breakfast is available, no lunch or dinner, but there is McDonald's and Beefeater in walking distance. Staff helpful and pleasant. Would stay here again.

basic hotel but nice big bed in room and is comfortable theres a mcdonalds next door great for kids would stay again but probs phone in advance get fan into room to cool it before arriving to make room more comfortable and bearabke in hot weather
