The Quality Inn located at 1009 S Service Rd, West Memphis is located 7 minutes from Beale Street and 12 minutes from Graceland. A very good hotel, moderately priced and no parking fees---which was great as hotels near Beale Street/Graceland where charging up to $22 per day for parking! The room was large, very clean and comfortable, featuring amenities as mini frig, TV, blow dryer, iron/ironing board, toiletries, large bathroom, lots of electrical plugs for all your mobile devices and WiFi. The closet could have been larger and the dresser could have had more than 3 drawers; especially since our stay was 10 days; however, the staff was very helpful in accommodating us with extra luggage racks. We had 2 queen beds with lots of assorted pillows which I found very comfortable; however, my roommate thought her bed was too soft. The hotel offers a free breakfast with a nice variety of items. The staff was very professional, attentive and friendly. We would definitely stay here again
Here to see my grand baby we found it quickly on the service road. Outside needs some freshening up and I was a little Leary. The lobby is nice and clean with comfortable furniture. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The beds were comfortable. I had a light out in the bathroom and the clerk came right up and fixed it. Nice tvs on the wall, microwave and refrigerator were great . The continental breakfast was the regular, standard fare. I would go back for sure
My wife and I have stayed at this hotel twice now, both times were in the same room, the jacuzzi suite. While we were in Memphis on business last month, I decided to book the same room, that I had booked a couple of years ago, knowing that it is a very nice room. One of our favorite room layouts that we have ever stayed in. Wonderful size for relaxing or working. We also loved using the jacuzzi on our first stay, that's what led me to book this room again. However, this time there were a couple of issues. The refrigerator in the room needed to be changed out. It was working, but when the compressor would kick off, it would make a loud noise that actually sounded like someone was trying to get in the door of the room. Therefore, all night long, it kept waking my wife up, startling her. Since we had gotten to the room later the night before, we opted to use the jacuzzi in the morning, before checking out. When we turned on the water to the jacuzzi, it was so brown and nasty that there was no way that we were getting in that. That meant that we didn't get to use the thing that really enticed me to book the room. When I booked the room, the manager gave me a discount for having Arkansas Farm Bureau Insurance, and because of this discount, she told me that she couldn't discount the room any further because of the refrigerator or the horrible water. All she could do was offer to "make it right" the next time I stayed. I'm not sure when that will be, or if she will even remember that. So I left this time feeling a little disappointed. On a better note, there is a Cracker Barrel restaurant nearby, but due to one-way service road, you have to circle around a long way to it.
My husband and I stayed here last night. Not a great hotel, but not horrible either. I wouldn't have even written a review if it weren't for the crabby desk clerk. The woman working the desk also needed to prepare the breakfast area, so she wasn't at the desk when my husband stepped outside to load the car. He got locked out and had to knock on the door for assistance and then got reprimanded by the clerk. When we checked out, she dang near threw the receipt at us. I guess she wasn't ready to be at work. She sure did not have a friendly, hospitality-minded attitude.
This was my second stay at this location and had it been my first I would not have returned. We asked for a non-smoking room which we received, however it was smack dab in the middle of all the smoking rooms. The room itself didn't smell of smoke but the hallway was awful! Not only did the hall smell of stale cigarettes it was quite obvious that some of the other travelers were enjoying the opportunity to smoke alternative items. The rooms itself was clean and comfortable but the shower water never got above lukewarm. Breakfast was included in the cost of the room and was your typical hotel food - edible but nothing special. I do not plan on returning to this location in the future.
First impressions are important. The front desk person was quite unfriendly, rude & tried to give me a room on the noisy side that faced the highway. When I asked to check out the room, he suggested I just cancel my reservation. I had made it on Choice Hotels & knew that I could not get a refund for it. Reluctantly he gave me the room key & when I returned he found a room available on the quiet side. I noted that at 8 p.m. there was not a single room light on, on the noisy side. The rest of the story is average. I can't recommend it to you.
Stayed here overnight on business trip. Staff was friendly enough but this hotel is dated. Room was run down looking. Needs to be refreshed. One thing when I checked in the room was very warm. It was 103 heat index outside and it had to be at least in the 90s in the room and it took a couple hours for it to cool down to where it was tolerable. It was clean. Price point was good for room. Was in a hurry the next morning so didn't really get to try The continental breakfast. I did get a look at it it did look good biscuits and gravy he cereals etc. your typical hotel fair. I grabbed a banana and an apple on my way out. Average location an average hotel is what I would say about this place not so bad for the price.
We checked in and our room smelled musty and was very warm. Not a good sign right from the start. We turned on the air conditioning and the smell dissipated somewhat, but did not entirely go away, It was coming from the bathroom. The bathroom needed some upkeep. It was clean, but the wallpaper was starting to peel, and just looked dingy. As opposed to the nice bath towels you get in most facilities, these were very thin and very small. Honestly made it hard for a tall guy like me to get dry. For my final point on this facility, let's talk about the bed and pillows. The bed in our room was a king size bed. The room was big, by the way, with room for a loveseat. The bed felt like it was a sheet of inch thick plywood with a thin piece of foam on top. I have never tried to sleep on a harder hotel or motel bed in my life. There were several pillows on the bed, but they were the opposite, so soft as to be useless. I have back issues anyway, but I woke up at 2:30 with such a bad backache that I was done trying to lay on the bed. all in all a horrible experience. The one good thing that I can say for this place was that the desk clerk on the evening shift was pleasant. The overnight clerk on the other hand left a little something to be desired in the service department.
The hotel was very clean with 2 chairs to sit & be comfortable. Nice big rooms with comfortable bed. Very friendly staff & very helpful. Nice variety of items for breakfast. Will stay here again when in the area.
We stayed in this hotel this week and found it ok. We were given a nice big room which was clean, but faced the road so was a little noisy. We were offered to change to another room if we wanted to, but after a hot busy day we were happy to settle with what we were given. Just a couple of things all related to the bathroom. The towels were quite small and a little worn: The bath has a slightly rounded base which we weren't fans of: There was a string musty smell which we suspect comes from some mildew under wall paper or paint. Lastly I don't like coffee machines in the same room as toilets but this place has this set up, as we have noted do others. Breakfast was so so.
