The employee cooks your eggs however you want them & however many you want! They had a variety of food to choose from! They had sausage links, eggs, sausage & gravy, biscuits, toast, bagels, muffins, cookies, cereal cold or hot instant, tea, coffee , orange or cranberry juice! The beds were comfortable with 4 pillows on the king size one! The room had a nice sitting area with an antique Victorian looking loveseat & a regular soft chair plus a wood table with 2 chairs & a desk area with a chair! The refrigerator sat on a stand off the ground for easier access & the freezer was large enough to put our 3- 1/2 gallon jugs of ice in & 2- 20 ounce bottles of ice in! The refrigerator had plenty of room for all the things from the cooler to fit in it! It also had a microwave & a coffee pot! The room was decorated with an American Flag picture that had soldiers on it & the shower curtain was also an American Flag! Very patriotic of them! Loved it! Great way to show their love for their country! The blonde hair girl at the desk that checked us in was very nice, friendly, & informative! Great price! I liked that it was a downstairs room where you go directly into your room & not down any halls! I requested a downstairs room & that is what I received! It is by the highway but if the TV is on or once you get to sleep it doesn't wake you up! I live in the country & I didn't have any problem sleeping here! There are restaurants close by to eat or you can order from pizza places from the numbers in the room! I would stay here again! Great place to stay!
This is a very nice Knights Inn. It is not the greatest motel ever, it does not have the greatest breakfast ever. Is it worth the $20 more than the motel next door? I don't know. But the room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. I did like the red, white, and blue decor featuring images of the American flag.
We stayed one night on our way to the east coast. Having stayed in West Memphis before, we weren't expecting much, so we were REALLY surprised at the amenities in our room. There were slippers on the bed, each pair with a wrapped chocolate resting on top. There were toothbrushes and mouthwash in the bathroom, in addition to the usual lotion, shampoo and conditioner. All of the linens were in great shape and the bed was comfortable. With a mini-refrigerator, a microwave, ironing board, and iron in the room, we felt like we were in a much more expensive hotel. Breakfast is included, and there's a very courteous gentleman there to cook eggs, waffles, and pancakes to order. (Don't overlook the tip basket in the cooking area!) The fruit trays and breads are nicely presented, and there is the usual assortment of cereals, juice, and coffee available. The only reason I didn't give this nicely-renovated room a 5-star rating is because the AC did little to control the humidity in the room, even though it cooled efficiently. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip through West Memphis.
WOW...what a NICE hotel! I was amazed at how nice it was for the price. Slippers on the bed with chocolates, made-to-order omelettes in the morning...WOW. I will definitely stay here again. I had a little trouble at a local Pizza Hut getting my order correct, which is why my rating for the local area is lower. Had to drive through some sketchy areas to get there too. But this hotel was fantastic! Very clean, very comfortable, very quiet.
Thank you to the manager, Allen. He didn't welcome us to a hotel, he welcomed us into his home. He made sure our visit was pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. The rooms were updated, nicely furnished and decorated. There were even slippers and mints on the beds. Allen made this budget traveler feel like a first class client and friend. Definitely stay here!
Traveling from OK to Fl. Decided to stop here for a nights rest. The gentleman at the front desk was awesome and informing. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding - had a waffle and my husband had some biscuits and gravy. Fruit was freah. It was beyond what I expected for the price. Would definitely recommend this place.
This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel while traveling. They are quiet inspite of being just off Interstate 55. They serve a very abundant breakfast, made to order by the one man show, Allen. He checked me into the hotel in the evening and made our breakfast in the morning. He is part clerk, chef, and tour guide and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was clean, comfortable and within walking distance of several restaurants. I will definitely be going back.
My son and I drove more than halfway across the country, and stayed at a lot of places along the way, but this one was by FAR the best we encountered. I was truly impressed. I don't like to spend a lot of money on lodging, so when I look online for a booking I tend to go with the lower prices, as long as the reviews are not too terrible. I found this Knights Inn online, and didn't expect anything but average, but when we checked in I was VERY pleasantly surprised. The price was good, and our room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. We had an abundance of artistically arranged towels, robes and slippers for each of us, mints on the pillows, excellent personal care products (even toothbrushes). The entire property was immaculately maintained. The made to order breakfast was also impressive. Fresh pancakes or waffles, eggs cooked any style, fresh fruit, biscuits and gravy, good coffee. Wow! I've never experienced this level of service at this price point. I cannot recommend it enough. I can't say much about the neighborhood, although it seemed to be a little commercial- not great for strolling if you like to explore like I do. It was easy to find, although I found the driveway slightly confusing. A better sign might help. If you miss it, just turn into the next one and you'll get there just fine. Stay here with no hesitation- it's great!
Very good choice of motel ! Has everything we needed and more. Made to order breakfast, clean room, safe motel. Can get on the highway and go. Only about 10-15 min from downtown. I will stay again next time I'm going that way.
Stayed here after driving 750 miles(!). Cleanest, best maintained property, hands down, of any price point facility we've ever stayed at. Greeted by Alan at the front desk at 6:30pm. This guy is a treasure. He was still there in the morning to cook everyone made to order breakfast. Food was amazing. Homemade, fresh, and bountiful. Whatever he is paid, it should be more 😉. Decor leans to the patriotic. All materials are fresh, clean and welcoming. No "motel laundry detergent" smell to the towels and linens. Nice coffee maker with 4 cup capacity. Refrigerator with freezer, and a microwave. All you could need! Bed was very comfortable and had lots of pillows to choose from. Slippers were provided, and bedtime mint treats. So nice. Excellent security - owner is retired USMC and is clearly committed to a safe and clean atmosphere. We will absolutely stay here again when traveling through Memphis.
