Knights Inn West Memphis

1.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Believe the 9.1 review. I give it a 10. Comfortable, inviting, clean rooms. Slippers and chocolates await your arrival. Absolutely best breakfast I've ever had a hotel. Allen the breakfast chef made fluffy omelets made to order, also pancake and waffles varitey of syrups. Biscuits and gravy, sausage links. Bagels, cereals, juice, coffee. Fresh cut fruit, cantoulope, pineapple and watermelon in a fancy watermelon rind. The owner is a Marine, you can tell he take pride in his business! We wish his family great success!!

This was my third time staying at this hotel. It's in a great location for those passing through the area or for those who want a cheaper stay within reasonable driving distance of Memphis, Tennessee. The room is full of all kinds of amenities and the breakfast served in the morning is next to none. Dorm room size fridge, microwave, big screen television, table and desk.

Never stayed at any Knights Inn before, as I usually prefer Hampton Inn. Chose this because of good price and trip advisor reviews. It really lived up to prior recomendations. Room was spacious, very clean, and decorated in an All American, red white and blue motif. In addition to the bed, room had fridge with freezer, easy chair, small table and chairs, large screen tv, small desk. The room was ready when i checked in, with a light on, as well as the ac on (appreciated as the outside temp was ~95°). Slippers and mints were on the bed. Breakfast was fresh and eggs or omelettes were cooked to order. If i had to identify anything that was a bit subparr, it would be that the orange juice was not as good as i would prefer and that the secondary lock on my room door was pulling loose. However, i felt safe, so not a big issue for me. Despite being near the freeway, it was quiet.

We were on the third day of a road trip. We knew better than to stay in East Memphis so decided to cross the river. I read all the great reviews for Knight's Inn and thank goodness they had rooms. But when we arrived, we saw they were rooms you can just walk up to from the parking lot. I prefer rooms that you have to go through the lobby for safety reasons. The desk clerk put us at ease immediately. She told us there were 27 security cameras: the owner was a former Marine and kept tabs on everything. She said in 4 years that she had worked there, nothing had ever happened at the inn. The rooms are large and airy. Frig and microwave in every room. The owner's Marine Corps background is evident in the decor. But the room was spotless. Slippers on a very comfortable bed with chocolates. Big fluffy towels, yummy breakfast made it worth the stop.

A very good motel. Great beds, nice pool. Fluffy towels. And welcoming staff. But the most attractive feature is the hot breakfast with fresh made eggs (omelette, scrambled with or without veggies) and waffles.

Picked this hotel while on a road trip based on previous ratings. I travel for work and am used to staying at the nicer hotels so my expectations were not too high. I was VERY surprised by the amenities, cleanliness and wonderful customer service provided at this hotel. The room was very clean, nicely decorated, slippers and mints on the bed, typical soaps in the bathroom including new toothbrushes. The breakfast was much better than expected! Made to order omelets, pancakes, waffles, biscuits & gravy, fresh fruit etc. My daughter enjoyed the pool too. I would highly recommend this location and based on my experience here, I will look for this chain when traveling.

If you would have told me there would be slippers and a mint on my bed, a toothbrush, and razor on the counter at a Knights Inn, I would have thought you were lying! The same gentleman greeted us at check in and served us made-to-order eggs in the morning. He was helpful and honest about the food choices around the area. We could not use the pool due to the weather which was disappointing but completely understandable. We would stay here again!

This place is awesome. I have never stayed in a place so clean. And the young man that checked us in and also made our fresh eggs and omelets every morning was so nice, kind and professional. He always had a smile and willing to help with any recommendations on where to site see or eat. I highly recommend this place and will stay here every time I'm the area. Also you can't beat the price.😀

We pre-booked the hotel because of all of the positive reviews. We arrived at the hotel late in the evening, the front desk was clean the check in process went smoothly. We had a main floor room at the far end, the room was very cute. There were wood laminate floors in the tub and toilet area, unique ceramic tile in the sink area, carpet with an area rug in the main area of the room. We had a coffee maker, fridge/freezer and a microwave. We had slippers and chocolates on the bed, two toothbrushes, a razor, soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. We had 2-3 mosquitoes in the room that we killed and then we were good for the night. The king size bed was very comfortable, there were a lot of pillows and the room was quiet, not once did we hear anyone above or beside us. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean. We had a wonderful breakfast, cook to order eggs, but they offered omelets, pancakes, cold cereal, oatmeal, cookies, apples, oranges and cut fruit (watermelon, pineapple, melon and honey dew). All bread, cookies and muffins were in individual sandwich bags. There was coffee, tea, juice and milk to drink. I would definitely stay here again if I am ever in the area.

I am 77 years young and have been to a lot of motels in these years. I have to say honestly, I have never been to a better one. The staff was very courteous and willing to go beyond the pale to be sure the guests are happy. The rooms are bright and airy, very well appointed with refig/freezer, microwave, flat screen tv, ve a sofa with padded cushions. We have a Chey Volt and they got us one of the only 2 rooms with an ourside 110 olt receptacle so we could recharge the car overnight. I have never been in a motel where a member of the staff prepares eggs to order for breakfast. A great place to rest during a trip if you want to have a great stay for the night or longer if that is in your plans. Cant say enough about the motel.
