Everything was excellent

The bathroom floor was dirty when I arrived. During my stay, the toilet in my room needed to be serviced.

I really liked the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. My only problems was the shower was very hard to find the right temperature, and the valet parking guys weren't always available when you needed them. I didn't get to see the pool area as it was too cold for a swim, but I hear it's nice. In general the staff was very pleasant and the room is great.

Hotel was in a nice location, very clean. Had to move into a different room in the middle of the night because the toilet wouldnt flush. Staff did a great job of bringing a new key to my room and offered to help my wife and i move are things. They allowed us to have a late checkout for our troubles. Overall, it was a nice experience and would possibly return.

Excellent experience through and through..stellar customer service and a lovely, clean and large room.

No pool available to swim on the roof top and no one advised us either until we were ready to swim. Also payed full price and amenities when they couldnt be used. Other hotels were cheaper and provided everything for same price or less

The hotel is located in a prime location. Walking distance to cafe's, restaurants, etc. and not far from Melrose or Sunset Blvd. If the weather is nice you could prob walk to those streets but if not, it's a quick 5 min car ride. I was in a King Suite which was huge and extremely comfortable. My guest stayed on the pull-out and was surprised how comfortable it was! The staff was quick and friendly and prompt. We got to the hotel 3 hours before check-in and although the room was not ready, they asked for an hour to get it ready, which I thought was very accommodating. The only bummer was at the time their pool and gym was closed to renovation.

Love the sunken living rooms. Newly upgraded room. Decent gym. $20 fee annoying.

The fish tacos were amazing in the hotel restaurant. Ángel the waitress was wonderful. The room was spacious and had a balcony where I could see the city lights. Looked like the hotel was doing some upgrades on my floor. Staff that I encountered were all very nice and helpful. They had fresh fruit out at front counter.

The room was spacious with a huge bathroom. The shower was awesome - large with great water pressure and temperature control. It was difficult to get the room temperature just right - the AC fan seemed to have only one speed - gale force. Our room had a separate living area with its own television. It also had a gas fireplace but ours wasn't working. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The wait staff in the bistro was VERY SLOW. The restaurant was not crowded but I couldn't even get a cup of coffee. I had to go to the lobby to get coffee from the self serve coffee station. Eventually our food (continental breakfast) arrived, and we were ignored thereafter. Nobody asked us if we needed anything or if we liked our breakfast (we didn't). Bottom line - avoid the restaurant. Overall a good experience, though. The hotel was a 15-20 minute walk to other restaurants suitable for breakfasts

Disappointing hotel, arear great but the hotel was so so. Great staf, but there is no lounge area to sit and read or work. The pool is on top but there is no seats only long chairs. All The hotel have a old smell, there is a sewer smell that is unconfortable. The shower was not very clean. The hotel must be completely renovated.

An incredible location walking distance to a lot of decent places and everywhere else one would want to go in Hollywood / Beverly Hills a very short drive. The room was absolutely massive with a cool design similar to the pictures, more like a one bedroom apartment than a hotel room - however it was very worn and needs renovating urgently. Think: frayed carpet, sockets hanging off the wall, chipped paint, loose doors etc. The same can be said about the rooftop pool and bar - lots of potential however needs updating and needs some staff up there. The bar was closed at sunset on a Friday evening - I'm sure the hotel missed out on masses of revenue from potentially thursty customers. The upkeep of the hotel was more in keep with a $50 a night motel rather than a $300 a night Hollywood property, however the location and staff were great. Ally the property needs is a basic renovation or refresh and it can be 5* but right now it feels more like *3.

As a dog friendly hotel they don't even have a dog bowl, not to mention dogs aren't allowed anywhere not that theres much to this hotel anyway, but you would think you dog won't be trapped in room in a dog friendly hotel. Staff are awful, robots ! I was there for surgery and had mention this number of times, not once I was asked how I was or if I needed help or anything, I assumed like any other boutique hotel you would get more personal connection, this was more like a No Ma'am Yes Ma'am fake smile, if you would even get anyone at the counter, most of the time there was no one even there, no door man or concierge, had to open door myself every time (heavy for someone who just had surgery). Cleaning service was awful too, I had a tray sit behind door for a good 24 hours before it was picked up next day. lose cabinet doors and towel knobs in room, Balcony wasn't even a balcony was facing a dark wall with no patio furniture, I was so disappointed with everything over all and wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
