It was friendly, clean, good colors etc. What I didn't like are the bathtubs. I'm short, and the sides are too high. It's difficult to get in and out of the tubs without slipping.
They were out of one of the vegetarian burger, leaving not much else on the menu for a hungry vegetarian. Salad was small for price.
It was generally clean but a piece of clothing belonging to the last occupant was forgotten in the room.
The hotel is nice until you get to the hallways and your room- they smells like smoke!! It was quiet though!

it was just great even though they had construction going on every thing was great, I did have to wait a little longer than was told for the shuttle, should of been available around 7: 00 it did not get there until 7:30, was a cold wait. just to let you know it only cast 11 pounds plus tip for a taxi. thank you

First of all when we get there our room is not ready. We would have to wait 3hrs but we could "upgrade". We thought it was for the inconvenience but no it wasn't we had to pay an additional 60 GBP. This so called "upgrade" we got a scratchy robe, a mars chocolate bar, and a bottle of water. We were suppose to get "free" breakfast. The woman sits us down we go get our breakfast we are almost done when she brings us a bill for 35.90 GBP for both of our breakfast. Yes I flipped out and had to speak to 4 people and orbits to get this one breakfast and it left us no breakfast for the entire week which sucked because we brought enough GBP for lunches and dinners because everything else was already paid for. These people do not believe in air conditioner. The room was extremely hot we put the a.c. on but would not work we had to call front desk, they send a manager to tell us "It's winter so our heat is on". You kidding me????? It's thr emd of May almost June.with the heat on.We told them they had to do something so they bring us a portable a.c. unit that barley did it's job. Our bathroom had a shower/tub leak we called nothing was none. There was mold were the leak was coming from. If you use the toilet smd flush tje next person can NOT use the toilet to flush for 5 mins othereise it eill NOT flush. The hotel restaurant is ok but EXTREMELY over priced. We ordered chicken with salad it was good and a burger but it was over cooked and fries were old for 40GBP. Bed was very comfortabl
Quite a few airline crews seem to stay here. I guess the fear of losing their business keeps the hotel on its toes. One thing missing was directions on how to catch the Hotel Hoppa bus service at the airport, its frequency, number and the cost of the ticket Also a warning that the bus does not accept American Express cards. I also had difficulty finding the bus stop.
The Holiday Inn was quiet and gave easy access to both Heathrow and London. Staff were helpful and pleasant at all times.
The staff, room and hotel amenities were all very good. However we found it strange a "Holiday INN' did not have any wash cloths, lotion, notepad or pens. Not very luxurious for a hotel of this stature.
While it is close to the airport you don't hear the airplanes at all. If you are going into London from here more then once, I would stay somewhere closer. The rooms were very nice and clean. The breakfast was fantastic!
Only thing that sucks is you have to pay for parking. But that's the norm for all airports around heathrow
