We had a one night stay over on the way to Austria, and checked in very late. The rooms are nicely large, a bit old fashion, but clean and charming. The bathrooms are great, and the best part was the awesome breakfast. We can for sure recommend the place.
Our double room was spacious, clean and well-equipped but was almost airless and it was difficult to open the windows to let in any fresh air. (There was no functioning air-conditioning.) Our evening three-course meal was miserable. The starter was a bland soup. The main course was a piece of tough meat. (Never discovered exactly what it was.) It was accompanied by several vegetables which tasted as if it they had come from tins and warmed up. The servers kept coming by to see how everyone was enjoying the meal. The dessert was indifferent. We were all too tired after a long day to register any complaints. The next morning's breakfast was better but nothing compared some of the other ones we had had during our trip. The reception staff was neither hostile nor particularly friendly or helpful. Not a great one-night stay.
I stayed for almost 2 weeks (!) I had a very small room (single bed with very small duvet, only shower, no bath) Hotel at 40 min walking from the city center!! situated along a very noisy road, and if you're located at the front you are also lucky being above the entrance and the parking lot where very noisy smokers/fighting people disturb your nights/mornings (We were lucky, there was a party in the hotel on saterday night and at a certain moment there were more people outside yelling than there were probably in the building... it went on till 5 o'clock...) asked another room , not possible. So you must have earplugs if you want to sleep in this hotel. The bed was more like 'concrete', I needed to ask a second duvet, and put it double on my mattress to have something soft to sleep on (so did my colleagues!). Rooms not clean (even not to speak about the toilet...) Soap was empty after 8 days, was not refilled anymore...One evening upon arrival my rooms' door was open!!! Probably the housekeeping did not close it (well), fortunately nothing was stolen... !!! breakfast OK, but not for 2 weeks (no variation), restaurant not really OK... (well done burger was finally raw, Cesars' salad with way too much vinaigrette, cod with way too much mustard sauce which masked all taste) some positive points: friendly personnel, bottle of water in the room and possibility to drink coffee/tea in the room. Maybe OK for 1-2 nights, not for long stays or if you also want to sleep in your hotel room...
We stayed here for two nights while visiting friends in the area. The hotel was conveniently located and easy to find, with a large car park. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the service was excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the dining area very pleasant. Overall we were very happy with this hotel.
We stayed here on our way through Germany. It was a clean and fresh hotel. We were a bit sceptical before we booked as the rates and comments were quite old. But when we came here the receptionist was super friendly and welcoming and the room was great. Large rooms and very modern decoration. The room was also perfectly cleaned.
We had stayed at this hotel a few years ago when it was called the Clarion hotel. Apart from the name not a lot has changed. The hotel is someway out of town but walkable. The reception area is impressive as is the breakfast room and restaurant. Staff are friendly and willing to assist. You do get the feeling staffing is kept at a minimum to manage costs. The guest rooms are large and generally well appointed. The beds are comfortable but the pillows are not. Breakfast is a good offering and the restaurant also has quality food, good service and a reasonable menu. While not required in July, I noted heating is available to guest rooms. More surprising is there is no air conditioning in the hotel. When functions are held (wedding party the night we were there) it can and is noisy with little recourse but to put up with it. There is ample free parking outside the hotel but it is not secure nor under cover. For some reason the hotel just does not have appeal. I think we could do better should we return in the future.
Good price, excellent rooms for family and superb restaurant. Arrived at 19 and after 21 the restaurant was still busy. Free parking and nice beds. Very helpful and friendly staff. 1500m from the highway A7.
Pretty basic hotel room and like many places could do with a very good clean in shower as mildew starting to form really is a pet hate of mine but even the higher star hotels have same issue TV complimentary hot drinks and water which is nice Not amazing for business as wifi is very hit and miss so not able to work well from room Beds bit soft but relatively comfy although dislike the square pillows thAt are not comfy Bathroom has only a shower no bath Food ok beer good staff friendly really liked the chap in the restaurant he looked after me on my own eating very well all staff are courteous very professional ok for a night or two or a short break
Very nice hotel with good price. Free WiFi who worked very well. Room had a good size, bed was comfortable. One of the biggest selection of food at breakfast, bread rolls, bread, cup cakes, doughnut, hot chocolate, coffee, juice, there where also a mug with waffle batter so you could make your own waffle. Had a very nice garden as well. Would stay here again.
Rooms okay but no air conditioning. At arrival they ask you for how many pieces of equipment you need Internet access. In the room is no wifi available. first is that they would like you to belief that they don't know about it and "thanks for telling us". after putting some pressure they admit there is no internet.
