Orbitz should be held accountable for giving this rat hole any stars. I had 4 rooms for family, this is the kind of place you should have a warning, not a recommendation. There was feces in the bathroom, gigantic holes the ceilings, the mildew nasty smell was overwhelming. The furniture was ripped. Very few lights worked and none in the bathroom, as it turned out, that was a good thing. The absolute worst rooms i ever have stayed in. It truly was a hellhole.
Lobby area and employees reeked of smoke. Our room smell was horrendous, smelled like something died in the carpet. Good points: Mattress was comfortable and linens were clean.
Hotel was dated and the roof was leaking in the hallway. Cleanliness was just ok.... but not terrible. Breakfast was pretty much coffee and toast. Doubt we’ll stay there again.
As I drove up to the motel there were piles of what looked like construction resources covered with tarps. The door didn't shut and was all scratched up and worn out, same with the security door at the back. Men were hanging out at the back smoking cigarettes by my window. The room looked just is worn out.
We stopped in Waynesburg so I could visit my parents' graves and other family member burial sites. I lived in Waynesburg when very young and spent much time over the years visiting in the area due to Grandparents and parents living there so I know my way around. It was great to be "home" again. The room was neat and clean and comfortable. I am a smoker and was satisfied that the room wasn't too pungent. I travel with Febreeze and I don't litter, etc. Thank you for a pleasant stay and I will be back.
Awesome continental breakfast! The milk & OJ could have been chilled better. Nice amenity with refrigerator in room and also coffee & tea maker. Very good value for price paid.
