Very smooth check in. Reception went over everything we needed to know, WiFi, breakfast etc. room was clean and well appointed
The ladies at the desk were super friendly and helpful at check in and when I had questions. The bed was very comfortable. It was nice and quiet inside and out. My room was plenty spacious. Furniture was comfortable too. My only criticism would be the condition of the place. Definitely old and worn. They keep it clean but the place could use some work.
Property is just old and needs updating. Smells musty

The "Boss lady" was very helpful upon arriving. The towels and face clothes were so thin they felt disposable.
You could see every touch-up paint spot from probably the last decade or longer. On one small wall in our room, there had to be 15 touch-up marks. At some point, paint corner to corner. The hall and room had a musty/smoke smell. They shouldn’t even advertise the breakfast...very disappointing. The toilet was wobbly and water was leaking from the base. Needs general maintenance and upkeep.
Excellent location but the property is dated. Check-in clerk was unsure if he could accommodate our reservation. He had to knock on the door of our room to make sure it was empty before he checked us in. It was a little odd.
All in all the facility was comfortable. It could have been a bit cleaner, hall ways, cold air vents etc. The room was spacious, bed comfortable and clean. Breakfast was ok. Something to start your day with.

Our mattress was the worse mattress we ever have slept on. They need to get rid of this mattress. Also after our room was cleaned housekeeping left our room unlocked. Small are for eating breakfast and the variety of breakfast items were limited. Would of liked bagels and maybe at least hard boil eggs.
Courteous staff however indicated 24 hour coffee and seldomly was there coffee available. Canister was pretty much empty most of the day. Breakfast was lacking variety, Usually there is cereal and boiled eggs no pool or hot tub. Room was nice but no ice container. Ok place to stay if not in hotel except to sleep
Spent 3 nights - very relaxing! Friendly staff, view out the window is lovely trees and bird habitat. Very close to UW-SP, SentryWorld, eating facilities, walking, biking, nature observation. Could have more accessible electrical outlets to make it easier to work in the room.
Asked for two beds, received one bed and pull-out couch. Needed front desk help with bedding for couch and TV. Check-in till settled-in room over one hour. Facilities needed new seat.

I had to find another hotel because of a misunderstanding and quickly found the Stay Inn. The location was close to the hotel I was staying in the previous night. The hotel staff was friendly and the room was quite comfortable. It exceeded my expectations for a 2 star hotel. The only opportunity would be to improve access to the building. Seems like anyone could get in any of the doors.
The lobby was rather seedy looking, which was not a very good beginning. Although the rooms was alleged to have been non-smoking, it smelled like it had been one at some time not too long ago. There were no bugs in the bed, but there was mold around the tub which I had to wash prior to using. Then there were not enough towels in the place. In addition, there had been liquid soap dispensers in the rooms but it appeared they had been non-functional for some time. We will not be returning. The best thing about the hotel was the wooded view outside the window.
In town for a conference. Convenient location with friendly staff.
