Ice machine didn't work. Parking across street at ramp. Difficulties with tv

Staff was fantastic. Room was okay, but stained carpets, some mold in shower grout, NOT enough towels in room, and not enough pillows. Towels and pillows were delivered, but not enough towels the 2nd day either. (3 towels for 4 people.) Front desl staff was great. The day we returned to rou room, none of our 4 keys worked - and the same thing happened to our friends. Pain to go back to desk from 8th floor. On street parking (metered) only for our vehicle becasue the roof rack made us too tall for ramp.

Dump. At check-in no directions were given...where to park, where my room was, time of check out, etc. halls hot, decent pillows , slow bathtub, Parking good, no type of breakfast, no clean towels in pool area, seemed like it was run by teenagers. I did request much needed towels for my room and they delivered them fast. The help was friendly but didn't seemed trained for hospitality.

Hotel was a bit out dated. The bathroom fan was pretty noisy. Didn't understand why the channels on the tv were difficult to navigate through. Definitely will not stay there again.

It was an OK stay. Nothing exceptional. I'd say there are much nicer stays in downtown, but great for the value.

I am uncertain if the Ramada is responsible for the area of the skywalk on he way to the parking ramp, but there was feces in this area that was not cleaned up properly. The hotel is okay, not nice for the price. It could offer a lot more. The room was clean. I had a business suite and would have thought outlets to plug in computer, phone, etc, would have been easily visible and accessible, but everything in the room was plugged into a power strip and another outlet extender type of device. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Parking was not convenient and we walked through a maze of halls with no air movement. But the parking in the garage was free so that made it better. Staff were great and room was clean and very comfortable.

The staff was prompt, efficient, knowledgeable and courteous; check in was easy and efficient. The room was clean, bathroom amenities were nice, shower has more than sufficient flow to wake you up, the assortment of pillow densities was great and the bed was comfy. Attached parking ramp was handy, complimentary and access easy with covered crosswalk. Wifi access was strong and easy login.

Good nights sleep even with the ice and pop machines right outside the door. Bathroom needed help ( someone tryed to fix things by using caulking but bad job. Everything was very clean.

Our room 717 needs some tlc to get that stink out. It smelled like some musty butt. I almost asked for a different room but didn't want to move all our luggage and the next room end up smelling too. So I sprayed some body spray and got over it. The hott tub is still waiting on a part as I read in another review its been down for a while. And the only snacks you can buy are at the front desk and they are $2 per snack!! Ridiculous really. So I guess you get what you pay for because the price is why we choose that hotel.

it was not a very good experience at all. the pool was ice cold, the hot tub was working but nobody was allowed in it, the dining was an absolute nightmare, the waitresses at the restaurant were more focused on chatting then they were on helping the customers, the food was low grade at best, the waitress mixed up all of our orders and didn't get our children their drinks until about 10 - 15 minutes after we got ours, and the room needed a good cleaning and dusting, and the elevators were going berserk and would either not go to the floor it was supposed to or stop at almost every one on the way down.

Another guest got sick in the pool on Saturday (booze) We were informed in an effective way

Clean rooms great location parking across the street pool was up and running good. I will come back when I'm in that town.

Friendly staff, clean room, valet from our wedding!

The Hotel is downtown which isn't all bad. However, the streets are torn up and alot of detours. That and the fact Waterloo must boast the most stoplights in the country. every fifty feet theres a light, annoying as all heck. The Bed was very hard and I got a stiff back the 1st night. TV wasn't programmed so had to scan through all the channels just to watch a few. No breakfast means you're on your own unless you want to eat in the rest in the hotel. They do have good food. We ate there for dinner and the steak was good.Good peetza(thats how they spell it) across the street. a few too many gentlemans clubs close by which made for alot of noisey people hanging around.

On the positive side, the hotel is located in a great location and is easily accessible to pretty much whatever you need to do in Waterloo. The staff was extremely pleasant, professional and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. On the down side, the hotel/room is dated and in need of a makeover. The room furnishings are about 2 decades out of style and the bathroom, although clean, was in need of repair (toilet was running constantly, vanity countertop was not stable when you leaned on it...) The bathroom needed some grout and caulking work done. All in all, it was a pleasant stay !

My husband and I traveled to Waterloo to attend the Girls State Tennis Tournament. At first, were weren't too sure about the downtown location - but it worked out very nice, was easy to get to Byrnes Park for the Tennis Tournament and parking was just across the street, but connected to the hotel by skyway - so very convenient. The room was older, but very clean and had everything we needed. Enjoyed the heating/cooling system - able to have it on a continous fan, which we like for the "white noise" at night. Great shower head. Staff was very friendly. We only paid $42/night - a real bargain. Would stay here again.

Pleasant stay, comfortable room. Totally served our purpose at a great price!

Hotel was okay for the money. It looks alittle dated but for the price it's not too bad.

We had a great stay with Ramada being it was a very, very stressful time for us. they have places to eat all over near there. The staff was great, all was very nice. If I ever had to go to Waterloo, Ia again I would use the Ramada for sure. I can't see how they could make the stay any more comfortable then it was. Thank you Orbitz and Ramada.
