I was just there for one night. The hotel is a bit dated but clean and the staff friendly. It was all that I needed. The area around crystal city is a bit drab and I didn’t see a lot of restaurants. But the center DC is conveniently close by ride share or metro.
The front desk staff was amazing; so helpful & polite. The parking & internet fees are absurd. Overall, nice & quiet stay.
My wife and I were passing through DC on christmas day to go sight seeing and we booked this hotel because to be honest it’s genuinely affordable, when we got there we were instantly greeted and helped. We got our room and the room was very big and the view was actually pretty good. At night we got hungry and we went down to the lobby to order some food, I will say the food is not the cheapest $16 for a burger but that price is WORTH every penny. The burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were home made and amazing! Whoever the chef is needs a raise! All in all our time at the Westin was amazing and next time we pass through DC we will definitely be staying here again.
It was close to the airport, it had a great shuttle service and got me back to the airport in time for my next flight. So a very good

After what happened on January 6th, 2021, my family decided not to go to the inauguration, because we didn’t feel safe. We wanted to cancel our trip and get at some money back from this hotel. We got refund for the flight tickets even the airline said it was not refundable at the beginning. However, this hotel denied to refund immediately! They have no idea how much $1100 means to my family! We feel very angry and sad. We can’t do anything, but let them take our money away. We even don’t know whom we should turn to for help! I even suffered from depression after I realized I couldn’t get any money back. $1100 can support my whole family for a month and we saved it for the inauguration. It’s heartbreaking. I just want to let everyone know that this hotel is nothing but greedy!
