I used to really like this hotel but someone took their eye off the ball here. From ambivalent front desk staff to a restaurant with what seemed to be non-functioning heat on multiple visits to pillows that felt like they were made of packing peanuts it’s just no clicking at all, which is sad. It wasn’t a terrible visit, just deeply mediocre which has not been my experience on previous occasions here at all.
Love how our pups are catered to. A gem hotel!!!
I'm a local and loved that this cute property was close to Union Station but no so centered downtown that you get the crowds and commotion with more centralized locations
Close to rail station. Amazing french restaurant.
The Staff was absolutely fantastic. Anything you needed, at any hour, they were incredibly gracious, prompt and friendly. The hotel location is perfect for Capitol Hill. The hotel itself is ok, the halls are dark and the rooms are pleasant, and nicely furnished. Not much of a view. Restaurant downstairs was excellent. The staff, not the building, made it a place to return.
Me gusto que estaba limpio y en buenas condiciones. Tranquilo para dormir
The staff is very helpful, and the rooms are nice and clean.
We will definitely stay here again! Great location, loved the wine social in the afternoon, and very friendly staff!
Liked the horse. Walked into restaurant with my family and host asked "What can i do for you?" I guess she must have thought we were looking for jobs or something other than we wanted to eat.
Great hotel with a great and friendly staff. Amenities were very nice and and location was perfect. We had a family of five and were very comfortable for 5 nights. Great access to Union Station, Capitol Hill and the National Mall via the DC Circulator. Highly recommend this hotel.
Nice hotel close to DC places to visit. Parking vehicles very convenient.
Nice hotel very close to Union Station in Washington, D.C. Was only there for one night so can't speak very much about the amenities, but the room and hotel are attractive.
Good, clean, modern rooms, extremely helpful staff, great location.
The location was great! Very close to the Capitol. MMy only complaint is with regard to the resort fee that was added to the rate that I paid through Orbitz. When I reserve a package through Orbitz, I do not expect to pay hidden fees. The hotel says that this fee is for internet access, but that is ridiculous. I can get free WiFi at many hotels, yet they charged close to $30 per night (no choice). At first I was told that the fee would be per accommodation per night, and when I asked for clarification regarding what that meant, I was told that I would be charged per person per night. That would have been an additional $400!!!! When I checked in I was told that my credit card would be used for 'incidentals'. I do not consider a resort fee, that I don't get to choose to pay, to be incidental.
