Toilet in the room didn’t work- brought to staffs attention but didn’t work the entire weekend stay with my boyfriend manipulating the float valve after every flush. Hotel is in a good, safe location walkable to the sites
Staff is wonderful. Happy to support women. Show set up is dangerous - slippery floors, not well done.
Hotel Zen is truly a gem in DC. Beautiful decor with the ambiance of girl power. I loved everything about this hotel. The gorgeous and thoughtful art installations, modern furniture, and excellent hospitality and service were all on point. My husband and I can’t wait to come back in the summer to test out the rooftop pool. Excellent location!

Hotel staff was great from check-in to check-out. Location is not far from restaurants or stores. Roof top was also great, and their staff. I just wish they had a bigger menu selection for food/bites. Other than that everything was good. I recommend this hotel

Rooftop pool is amazing, but I was bummed that it wasn’t open the first night of my stay. Rooms are very clean and stylish but no hair dryer. Great location and very friendly staff!
During our stay we could not access the pool because it was either closed or we could not get a reservation yet we were charged an amenities fee of $25 per day plus tax for using it (I think internet access and 2 bottled waters a day were also included in that cost). Also we never once received housekeeping service in the 4 nights we stayed there, no room refresh or fresh towels (any of the nights). I had even set out the tag on our door requesting for our room to be serviced two of the days. I was very surprised each afternoon we returned to our room and nothing was touched. I have to assume it is because they are short staffed in housekeeping perhaps? The front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful and the hotel’s theme of female empowerment was stellar but I’m not sure we will return because I felt for the value it was not what we had hoped.
Gorgeous building in a fantastic location! The staff were very friendly and directed our son to their giant Lite Brite (which quickly became his favorite part of the hotel). I loved the design of the shower as well as the rental board games they had available.
