It was a nice and clean upscale hotel, but i booked for 3 people and only got 2 towels first 2 days and only 1 regular coffee with 2 decaf and 1 tea. $300 a night i would expect 3 reg coffees and 3 towels for 3 adults every day. Breafast was really good, but overpriced.

Location is great. Rooms are good. The service was lacking. Tried to check in early but room wasn’t ready. That’s fine. We were told to come back at the standard check in time 3:00 which we did and room still wasn’t ready. After an hour plus of waiting in the lobby, the room was ready. Next morning we asked if housekeeping was standard every day which we were told it is. We said we were out of the room for several hours so housekeeping could clean the room. Returned at 4:00 to an uncleaned room. Requested housekeeping again and waited another hour before they arrived. At this point we were told, as if our expectations were unreasonable, that housekeeping has a 6::00 deadline to clean rooms. I would imagine that we are not the only travelers who like to rest a bit and prepare for evening plans prior to 6:00. The same scenario replayed itself the next day with the same implication that we were unreasonable to expect the use of a clean room prior to 6:00. In three days we spent a total of over four hours sitting in the lobby waiting for our room to be cleaned.

They were probably very short staffed. Big issue: the A/C broke down the first night. We had to change rooms at 4am... They were super gracious about it and refunded us that night, but it was still a bad experience. The bartenders in the evening are really nice and friendly.

My first stay at the St. Gregory and really enjoyed it. Beautiful and spacious room, nice breakfast and the restaurant had some really unique and tasty options. The service was great from the bellmen, front desk staff and the bartender. I will definitely stay again!

Excellent location, friendly staff, but I found long hair on the floors. Perhaps, cleaning staff need to wear hairnets.

Our room was clean and spacious. The service was fantastic, staff was kind and accommodating. The hotel was close enough to the national mall and many restaurants.

Amazing . We actually got there super later and they upgraded us to a beautiful suite.p

Location, lobby, and rooms were lovely. Hallways are a bit dark and need to be updated. Desk staff except one are professional. Door/Bell staff are professional and welcoming. Maid staff doesn’t exist on weekends and it was very challenging to exchange towels and replace tissue, etc. Room service states 6:30 to 10 pm Breakfast and they would not make a waffle for my son in the evening.

Great little hotel, good location. Couple of issues: bar is only open from 5 pm to 9pm. They will not clean your room each day, until night#3, so you need to ask for each item separately: can I have more towels, can I have water,... and when there are 4 people in the room, it really needs to be cleaned each day. They were probably very short staffed. Big issue: the A/C broke down the first night. We had to change rooms at 4am... They were super gracious about it and refunded us that night, but it was still a bad experience. The bartenders in the evening are really nice and friendly.

Thank you for your review. We do not clean rooms everyday due to COVID and our rates reflect this lack of service We are lucky to actually have our restaurant open 7 days a week for breakfast and dinner as business is only at 25% levels and we are providing this as a service to our guests. Most of Washington DC restaurants close by 9pm or 10pm and may not even be open 7days per week. Many hotels have no food and beverage available at this time. As things change for the better, services and hours will return to match consumer demand levels. We are happy the staff was able to compensate you for your issues. We apologize that you had any issues at all. We strive to provide outstanding and empathic service. We thank you for your understanding during these trying times.
