Our completely smoke free room reeked of cigarettes. The room was clean, but the plumbing and fixtures were decades old. The thermostat was turned off, but t h e room was too hot in the middle of winter. We had to run fan to let air into the room. The description was very deceiving online.

Check in was great bed was broken roaches in the room

Sheets were half way cleaned and there was cigarette smoke in the room.... No clothes iron in the room had to request it.

Me and my group could not stay in this toxic place . We had to book at another hotel(Sheraton). I called and let them that we booked other hotel and we need our money refunded back.

This is the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. It was dirty with stains on the carpet and on the bed. It had a terrible smell in the room almost like someone had died. I was not even able to stay more than a couple hours.

The hotel has "Thank You for Not Smoking" signs all over but the entire hotel smells like weed. There was a blood smear on the bathroom wall. The bathtub leaked all night. The room temperature was like a sauna (even with the air conditioner turned on). And lastly the room that I stayed in looked like someone had previously busted into the room. I would not recommend this location if you book Red Roof book the one on Laurel Bowie Rd. That location is much better.

Bathroom light out. Both heat and AC on when I got in room. Reasonable price and location was where I needed it to be.

Atrocious environment and disrespectful staff. Roaches in the rooms and stains on the bed and floor. When I asked for a refund I got instant sarcasm and nasty insults.

Hotel was well-kept and staff is friendly. Although the building and grounds themselves are older, the staff clearly takes care of it. Aside from minor issues regarding upkeep, the place is neat and clean. Good value for the cost. Also conveniently located near metro and restaurants.

When we arrived cops were everywhere flashing there lights as though they were looking for someone - not the greatest area that's for sure! Ceiling was peeling and tv's were old. Only one towel in room with 2 beds (there were 3 of us so not sure what was up with that) Heard a gunshot about 2 a.m. followed by sirens - YIKES! Beds were old and hard as cement! Just not a very nice place! Only good thing was that the front desk staff was friendly and the price was cheap!

Roaches everywhere. I needed a place to stay for one night while they did construction on the electrical in my condo and it was disgusting. Roaches everywhere, sheets were not clean, carpets sticky. Will never stay here again and do not recommend.

I had to get my money back. Was in the room laying on the bed and saw a bug on the bed, called they told me they would give me a new room I asked if it would be clean they guaranteed it.. Well it wasn't cause I bed bug bit all over!!!

The first room we had was extremely small and smelled like someone had peed all over the room. No fridge no microwave. The girl at the desk said it would be 79.00 for the fridge and microwave. They charged my card 94.08 each night. The second room smelled better the tub didn't drain and there were 4 empty liquor bottles under the bed. Bed spread wrinkled. Chair springs were broke in half the chair. House cleaning didn't come in the first or second night until requesting that they change the sheets and towels. Overall horrible experience. The staff was accommodating all though obviously not very thorough. The location was close to a shopping center interstate convinience store mcdonalds and interstate

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The front desk lady that night was rude and gave us a room that was not clean (bed were not made, trash was all over the room). The second room smelled nasty and insects were flying everywhere. This was the worse $81 I've ever spent.

Several young adults loitered front and back of hotel. They weren't loud or bothersome but kinda seemed like they lived there full time. Our door was broken. The second switch lock was broken off and the dead bolt didn't align correctly in the door frame. After leaving the room to get ice our key no longer opened the door but the staff quickly reprogrammed it after walking to the room with the bulletproof glass where the worker stayed in the evening. Overall, we got what we paid for...the bed was clean and the bath was clean... But I wouldn't stay longer than a day or two.

The experience was as good as it sounds pretty much stay and leave

It's was what I expected for under 100 bucks. Found one bed bug. But I stayed any way after checking for more around the room and bed. Water was brown at first had to let run for a while.

I've stayed at this location many times and have to enjoyed my stay each time. Quiet location and comfy room.

RedRoof is a decent motel for finding a value for cash place. I just think it needs some minor improvements to make it better when competing with other motels chains.
