Had a great time visiting Washington sites. The weather was great the first few days some were able to walk the mall and see those sites. The last 3 days cool and wet so we were inside.

i really liked the place . what i didnt like was the bath room were too small. the rooms were very clean and smell good

Its was a peaceful and quiet stay I really enjoy my stay

The hotel had a terrible smell of mold. It gave me a headache.

Best bang for your buck. Needed cheap hotel for a few nights while looking for an apartment. Free breakfast, tv, shower, bed was all I needed.

checked in at 7ish out at 12:50am. sign outside hotel says they let us park our car for convience and are not responsible for breakins. hotel backs up to the projects. upon coming back from grocery store we noticed the door locking system was not secure. the screws were not screwed into anything. when we spoke with office person she said she could not get anyone to look at it till morning !!! and that she HOPED everything goes ok that night. seriously !! even their securuity man said is wasn't right, WE HAVE REALLY GREAT PICTURES OF THE LOCK! now they are charging my credit card for ANOTHER NIGHT.. even though they were paid through in full. trust me .... I expect a refund. and the extra charge best be removed. oh and when we asked SUE the office person about vandalism she informed us that yes they have had a lot but NO SHOOTINGS yet !!

Clean, affordable, nothing special, just needed a place to sleep for a few nights while in the area. Continental breakfast was lacking though, but again just a simple hotel.

The hotel was great, free continental breakfast, fast wifi! All the necessary amenities! Overall great!!

I understand that the HoJo was listed as a 2 star hotel but come on. From check in to check out I felt as if I were staying in an ancient motel on some deserted highway that rarely sees any business. For a hotel in College Park to have no pride in their presentation and service completely baffles me. Check in had a minor hang up but after the receptionist realized I already had a reservation, like I told her, things were cleared up. The 2 rooms I checked in to were essentially the same. One had a microfridge and one didn't. They both wreaked of nasty living, including cigarette smoke despite being a non-smoking room. The lights in the bathroom did not work at night in either room and I had to take a shower by the light of my cell phone flashlight!! The morning continental breakfast was pretty thin. Terrible coffee and bagels. A couple danishes were there but I was afraid to eat them! Check out was the standard uninterested "how was your stay" "thank you" "goodbye" I will definitely chose another hotel the next time I travel to CP.

Hotel was clean. They found a crib for my son. Breadfast wasn't fancy, but was adequate to keep us from getting hungry.

My hometown HoJo is much nicer than this one. We had a corner room which was nice for lack of neighbor noise but the traffic noise was awful. The front desk staff was less than pleasant but housekeeping was friendly/helpful however understood very little English. The bed was comfortable enough and the cable selection was adequate. The bathroom was tiny but had the curved shower curtain rod so no annoying curtain cling! The iron and ironing board were lacking but at least there was one. Wish there was a fridge and in-room microwave as we stayed for a week. Parking was plentiful but the driveway was confusing and a challenge to navigate. Close to major roadways making city travel pretty easy. Close to gas and grocery store but limited restaurants.

Its worth for money so i would refer it to my friends

overall good experience I have no complaints other than asking them to wake me up at a 6am and was never called

The room was comfortable enough to accommodate 2 adults and 1 teenager. The microwave and refrigerator in the room was greatly appreciated to help hold down the food costs.

Our stay at the Howard Johnsons was fine. We were quite tired and the shower I took was wonderful. The only thing was a strange, horrid noise from the exhaust fan in the bathroom which had to be turned on if you wanted the light on.

It's what you would expect at that price near DC. Just good to stow luggage and get a night's sleep.

We wanted to visit the Immaculate Conception Church and some other places around that area and the hotel it is perfectly located 15 mins from there. The only issue is they don't have crip so, if you travel with a small child need to pack a pack and play.

I needed a cheap hotel close to University of Maryland - College Park. This one did the trick. It is on Baltimore Avenue, nice location but the traffic noise is disturbing. The internet connection was fast. The rooms are decent. If you need a cheap place close to College Park Campus, this is good.

It compared to other Howard Johnsons we've been to in price, but not in quality. The room was small, cooled by a small wall-unit air conditioner that was noisy, and the bathroom was tiny. It reminded me very much of a cheap motel, except I would have paid a lot less for what was honestly the same quality. It wasn't a bad experience, and the front desk was nice, but I wouldn't pay that much for the location or room quality again.

We reserved 3 handicap accessible rooms, 2 to be adjoining. all to reqire no steps. We got only 1 handicap accessible room and none were adjoining. We requested all 3 rooms have a fridge and microwave. Only 1 did which was really a pain as all 3 housed insulin dependant diabetics.
