Excellent service friendly staff and very clean rooms

I was given a room with a 2xx number, but it was not on the 2nd floor. After I walked the entire floor a housekeeping employee directed me to the mezzanine level, where I found the room. No direction was given for this room. The room was advertised as having a refrigerator, but there was not one in the room. One was sent up and plugged into an outlet in front of the window. It was heavily dented, but functional. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The location is a little further from the Center of Old Town than I would like, but walkable.

Very clean hotel. I don'the recommend the breakfast buffet.

Easy to find, clean and modern look just renovated and frig in room

Currently remodeling restaurant so service was slow

Nice hotel close to Downtown close to shopping easy access to get to downtown DC we took the shuttle and caught the metro so we didn't have to drive. The only thing that was a bummer is the pool was closed most of the time we were there and only 1 ice machine worked in the entire hotel.

I enjoyed my stay. I was working at an office on King St. and enjoyed the walks back and forth from the hotel to the courthouse square. However, no morning shuttle service to King St. is a concern when the weather isn't nice enough for the 9 block walk.

Excellent stay had by all! Great customer service!

Nice stay friendly staff - would be nice to have more coffee for extended stay (we don't get our room cleaned). Also tp holder broken. Thanks for the great stay!

Arrived after 4 pm and room not ready. Seated for lesser room

Breakfast Buffet was mediocre with cold eggs and not included in room price. Service in Cafe was slow and there isn't food available before 5pm.

Even though I am a regular customer of Holiday Inns I cannot recommend this hotel, though it was only 4 blocks from my meeting. I had reserved a king size bed but when checking in at 2:50 was told that the earliest I could get a king room would be 3 or 3:30. I said I would wait but was then told I couldn't be guaranteed to get a room by 3:30, and was told I should take a room with 2 double beds. I did so and was given room which was 55 degrees even after the heat was set to high for 45 mins. When a maintenance man arrived he said that the heat in my room was tied to another down the hall and when the heat was turned to high in both rooms it tripped the breaker. He said the hotel was virtually empty so he would tell the front desk not to lease the other room out that night. I had my reservation for a month and if the hotel was so empty why wasn't I able to get a king room as reserved. The bathroom had a badly rusted tissue dispense and the tub had lost a significant percentage of it's finish. The woman at reception when I checked in would benefit from training in skills in greeting customers.

My stay at this property was great. My only concern was my room smells Like dust when when get into the room . My girlfriend and I tried to ventilated the room by opening the windows, however, the smell was still there for the entire time .

Have stayed here many times. Great location, convenient and easy to get to. Rooms clean and comfortable. Will stay again. Highly recommend.

Great hotel for business or family trips. A bit of a walk from the main king street attractions and the metro but the hotel provides a shuttle to help you get around.

The hotel was in a perfect location in between DC and Arlington and the airport. It was around some great restaurants and it was so convenient having Giant right across the street. I would totally stay here again.

Pros: close to many activities, free shuttle to king street. friendly staff. There was a lack of amenities. The vending Machine on our floor was empty. Cafes, resteraunt and Bar only open during limited hours.

this hotel is centrally located to all attractions. We were able to experience Washington DC while staying in a quant town. This hotel is situated close to shopping on king street. If you are into the art scene Torpedo factory is a must see. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleaned everyday. The food was average and would suggest going out for your meals.

Stingy with soap, shampoo, drinking cups! Unable to use shuttle due to rigid schedule and limited route! If you want to use it to get to metro, or tourist area you have to wail until 2:30. Solution - include all stops on routes like trolley and run thru out day. Include train station as stop. Need television inlibbysitting area.
