Expensive price. No restaurant, no bar, no water in the room, cold bare floors, construction workers looking in our window. Good thing I brought protein bars or we would have starved. We were planning on staying a second day but we just went home.
I booked this hotel with free valet parking included. I arrive to the hotel and the Valet attendant goes over the daily fees with me. I explained to him that our reservation included free valet and he still kept telling me it wouldn’t be free and that it would $23/day. I went to check-in and confirmed that I did have free valet included. The gentleman at the front desk told me to just let Valet know I had it included in my reservation. Once again, I let the Valet attendant know and he still argued with me. I had him go confirm with the front desk and indeed it was confirmed. An apology was not given. Our bed sheets had some sort of stain which seemed like a drop of old blood. When checking out, another gentleman at the front desk went over the bill for valet parking. I had to give him the same information and had to forward him an email of my reservation. Very frustrating since I had to keep my card on file and knowing their lack of communication, I could’ve been charged even after being The stay was just “ok” in my opinion and wouldn’t go back.
Great staff clean environment and close to all it will be my travel vacation to dc just love it
IT's hiding in the middle of other buildings right next door to the SPy Museum. It made it difficult to find at first but then we used the museum as a landmark walking back. It was an excellent hotel right in the middle of everything. We stayed in DC without a car and never regretted it.
Andrew, Elijah, and another Female front desk agent whose name I don’t recall were very kind and happy. All exemplary people. The location was very convenient, the view was so so.
Property is centrally located, and right in L'Enfant Plaza, so very accessible to a main metro hub, and a few minutes walk to the Mall. L'Enfant Plaza has places to eat, and stores, so very convenient. New changes to the hotel are awesome. Lobby towards the elevator has a great aromatherapy smell, and rooms are modern and sleek. Love the glass bottles to refill with filtered water for the room! Lights go on when you open the closets is a great feature. Wish the view was a little better for 12th floor interior room, since sliding open the curtains was a beautiful view of the construction for the pool, but that too will be better once pool is installed. Great location, nice newly renovated (and mean completely before was not good) Hilton.
Room has very nice upgrades. Large beds. Good location close to the National mall and above a subway station. Friendly staff.
Location was odd but still close to everything. Staff was very helpful.
My only problem was at first it can be a little tough to find coming from the train to L’Enfant Plaza.
Did not like the sounds of construction going on on Sunday?Monday, Sept. 22/23. Jackhammer (?) ...loud. DID like the courtesy of Registration Staff and Housekeeping...your training is paying off. Would definitely consider returning to Hilton Nat'l Mall.
Location was perfect! It was close to everything we could have wanted to do. It was right next to Spy Museum which was a fantastic museum! It is a short walk to the National mall and also has access to Metro through Hotel Lobby was very convenient to get anywhere we wanted to go when we were tired of walking. There was a free shuttle that picked up out front of the hotel to the Wharf district which was a nice area for restaurants and attractions in the evenings or walks along the river.
It was extremely clean and the entire staff was wonderful
At check in we were told our room wasn’t ready and it would be about 10 minutes. Our room still wasn’t ready 30 minutes later. My husband spoke with preferred check in and was informed that our room was in fact ready. The common areas are clean and nice. The food from the restaurant was good. The floor in our room is very dirty. I’m not sure if they mop after every check out, but the floors definitely could use a mop. I’m not sure if I just have high expectations for Hilton hotels, but I was slightly disappointed with some of our customer service experiences.
The bed was absolutely miserable. The AC also ran at full power the entire stay. Even do, it was still hot in the room. The bathroom had no exhaust do towels never dried.
Nice location. The hotel was not able to give us a late check out without a large fee, even we wanted just one hour extension. Fridge did not work. Water flow was really slow in the bathroom. Some members of the staff were not nice. Cleaning ladies were amazing. Probably not coming back to Hilton hotels.
Had confirmed booking for 2 king bed room for family of 4. On arrival, staff told me due to last minute bookings by large groups, hotel does not have 2 king bed rooms. How can they boot a reservation confirmed 2 days prior for a last minute booking? Whats the point of "confirmed" reservation then? They could offer us a room with single king bed and a roller twin bed. 4 people had to sleep on that which is typically for 3 people. The room they offered us had electrical issues causing the AC, coffee maker and some lights to not funtions. After a long day in DC we wanted to wind down quickly. The electrician they sent couldnt fix the issue. Another call to front desk, and we were moved to another room. So we had to pack all stuff we had unpacked and move to that room. The roller bed transfer took another call and more time. This room, llike previous had towels for 3 people, so one more call. It was about 11pm by the time everything settled down! Not something I would expect from a 4 star Hilton with top billing. For all the inconvenience previous night, the staff offered us complimentary breakfast next morning but I thought it was too little too late.

Hello, Thank you, for your feedback. I want to apologize that your stay was not up to the Hilton standards. Unfortunately due to covid-19 we had to adjust the restaurant hours. We do have pick up options available at the bar. We do also offer slippers for our guest rooms. I am really sorry that you did not have a great Hilton experience.

Hello Anonymous, Thank you, for taking the time to share your feedback. I am truly sorry for the miscommunication and the unpleasant experience you encountered at our property. The valet should have been informed by the front desk, that your parking was included. I will make sure to address this with our team. I checked with housekeeping and I want to assure you that it was not a blood stain on your sheets, unfortunately the sheet was stained by the machine. The sheet still should not have been placed on any bed. I thank you again for sharing your feedback and I will share your feedback with our team. This will help us improve on service. I hope that you will allow us another opportunity to serve you.
