Greenbelt Marriott

Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, comfortable space. I love this hotel. Offers room service , serves coffee and food on site. I have stayed at this location many times since 1998. The down side is that the up keep on the property could stand a bit of attention to detail . The rugs , door Windows , pavers, and front entry needs some daily attention. I noticed the glass doors were full of finger prints for my 3 day stay, pavers in front need repair, area in front needed to be swept including the mats that say Marriott. The door to the bathroom on the bottom was chipped, swollen and in need of repair.

The staff was top-notch! The front desk was a great help. It was a pleasure to spend 4 days at the Marriott Greenbelt. Would definitely stay there again.

Greenbelt Marriott is located at optimal distance, just outside dc main city area with free parking and peaceful quite area. Rooms and staff are near or at par of what you would expect from a 3 star hotel standard. Though they have no complimentary drinking water which is not nice. Overall decent place to stay if touring dc is your priority.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. I traveled with my family to washington DC.

You drive up to a dated ugly building, go inside to a less than impressive interior. Find sub par rooms and friendly but inept staff. Save your $$. Stay elsewhere.

We enjoyed the stay at Marriott Greenbelt. The rooms was clean and nice; also enjoyed the view.

The hotel check in took forever, and then once we were finally into our room(checked in at 11pm) we tried to get some sleep. There was a domestic dispute next door and I had to call the front desk three times. They didn't ask them to leave, but just told them to quiet down. I believe the room was overpriced and I would never stay at a Marriott again based on that experience.

Visiting the area for a wedding. Nice facilities, had plumbing issue in the lobby, but staff was very nice. Great room, comfortable bed, wonderful atmosphere.

Tight

First class staff excellent location beautiful and green not far from many things to do as a family. Very comfortable rooms.

I Live with my In Laws so at times I have to go away and relax the hotel was Beautiful the rooms was nice along with the view... I would go back.

I was given to expect great things given the quality of service the first day, and the well appointed rooms and comfy beds. But the carpet had a wet feeling and funny smell typical of a cheaper venue. Worst of all, I had SPECIFICALLY booked this hotel for the indoor pool. Because of Maryland Laws, they were required to have a lifeguard at both indoor and outdoor pools. Because of staff shortage or general cheapness of management, the indoor pool was NEVER open when the signs on the doors claimed it would be, even on the 4th of July (Door stated, "open 10 am to 10pm on holidays and weekends", and the 4th was both of those things.) I was NEVER given an explanation for why this was so. When I pressed my case , citing disabilities for both myself and my daughter (I suffer from heat and sun exposure and my daughter has vitiligo), staff became borderline rude. On the fourth, the only patrons using the outdoor pool both wanted to be using the indoor pool, but it was not opened. Business travelers may find it quiet and classy, but our family felt we were treated poorly overall.

I stayed at the hotel for the 4th of July. The lobby was great, and the price was an excellent rate. I was able to see the fireworks from my room. It was beautiful. The room was clean and up-to-date. It would have been nice to have more channels on the tv though.

Most enjoyed the relaxing surroundings of the room, and a good work out in the fitness center.

We were able to see 4th of Juky fireworks from our room. It's right by the Beltway and near a Metro station.

The Greenbelt Marriott hotel was the best choice for traveling to the various destinations planned for the weekend. The main area is welcoming and the staff was very pleasant. The room was large enough to accommodate three adults. Because of our stay at the Marriott we had a lovely weekend, and I will be sure to book my room at the Marriott next year.
