I had a funeral in town and was just looking for a cheap place to stay. I ended up driving into DC to see the sights while I was in town and it was relatively close by. I'd say this is a good spot for travelers looking for a cheap stay.

I was able to check in quickly and super early (around 10 AM), which was great. I dropped my stuff off and got right back into the car to make it to the funeral on time. For me, this was just a place to sleep. I got a smoke-free room, but it had two beds. The toilet paper roll fell off the wall when I used it normally. The hotel was quiet and near where I needed to be. I don't think it was worth the $95 I paid, but it was the cheapest place in the area.

Overall it was an ok experience. When we first got to the room which was 212, we noticed that though the heat was on high it was still cold in the room. I then noticed that the door looked like it had been broken into previously. This caused the draft to becoming in the room, when I called front desk about that issue and the noise from the arguing guest in the room that my headboard was on, no one answered. It was late and cold and I did not want to go downstairs to find someone. So that is why I gave the staff a low rating, because I had no interaction with one when needed, and I called front desk more than a few times. Overall I did not sleep and checked out before checkout time.

Clean environment not too bad for the price. Free internet, parking and the heat worked great.

This was a good stay. I liked the cleanliness. Nice clean deep bathtub to soak my travel weary bones.

You get what you pay for in the DC area. Continental breakfast was included with the stay. A/C smelled a bit funky so we did not have it on. I found the receptionist to be a bit rude, but other than that, it was worth the stay.

Room was way to expensive for the shape it was on...I stay at hotels about 7 times a month and this hotel is the worse one. Bathroom wall broken, no fridge or microwave...this is more a motel than hotel. I will never come back to this hotel.

I made my reservations about an three hours before getting on the road. I did not like the fact I could not reach anyone on the phone while in route. I did like that is was easy to locate. I wish the bathroom had been cleaner. I forgot to pack toothpaste and had to go out and buy some as there wasn't any at the front desk. I know these points may seem trivial but, sometimes its the small things that really count the most.

Great staff, very accommodating with my requests and great attitudes. Clean room and close to restaurant. Everyone has been great.

When we got there they said there was only smoking when I asked for non-smoking -- I didn't see the small words that you can't gaurantee it and I need to call. And we have a baby! There were no other hotels to go to. The mattress was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was disghusting.

The room was old and dirty. The rugs and bedspread were burned, threadbare and stained, I always wore shoes. The shower trickled. The only good thing I can say about this place is that there were no bedbugs. We got settled in our first room only to find that the lock was broken. We switched to the room next door and headed out to DC, returning around midnight, only to find that the lock was broken on our 2nd room. The manager did not answer, or return the very young girl at the desks calls, she was frantic, I felt sorry for her. The only thing she could do was offer us another room. Our medications were locked in our room. Eventually we got the door open. Do not stay here.

Well, it could have been worse. Considering it can cost $4000 a night downtown in some locations. Paying around $80 a night and what you get is about to be expected. The place was fairly clean, old but clean. The television was still using Analog reception. The bed was pretty firm. The door seemed a little on the weak side. You could see light through the door jam and really had to make sure you were good and locked up. Could have been worse, and all belongings were safe. For the price it wasn't so bad.

Nice clean hotel, modern decor. Nice staff.
