Located within a few mins walk of a train station, room was clean, bed was very comfortable, surroundings felt safe.

We needed an in town hotel to get to the hospital by 7 a.m. Fit the bill nicely.

Staff is great. This is about management and investment. Who thought to create a "safe fee" and make me initial it? Same about "return room key" or get charged an undisclosed fee? Room looked great, bed with lux sheets, bathroom with lux new towels, 3 signs telling me to be eco friendly to save them money. Fine. Cockroaches not fine. Bathroom fan smelling like fire. Desk chair in disrepair; impossible to move. Broken elevator key card so getting to floor iffy. Dope dealers in front were polite but frisky. Checkout to return keys difficult in a long line. Almost okay. But not really.

The hotel is located near a number of embassies including the Chinese. It is about 3 blocks from the Van Ness Metro stop - and so is reasonably convenient. The place feels a bit worn and dim. But the bed was comfortable and my room was quiet. Internet access is painfully slow. I ran a speed test of the free Wi-Fi -and it registered at .18 Mps (that's point one eight!) - which makes you almost miss dial up.

Good hotel and very close to my appointments. Friendly staffs.

Hotel was cleAn. The day to check out The cleaning lady at 10:20am was already standing in front of my door. When check out was at 11am. I told her to please wait until 11am or until i left my toom to clean. I assumed she had lefted. When came out the room at 10:55am the cleaning lady is still at my door. She asked me "are you done yet". I told her that check out was at 11am and i didnt understand why she waa harrasimg us to get out the room if it was time yet. But besides that everything else was fine.

Room was ok. Bathroom was very small. Beds were only a full size. A little uncomfortable. The price was reasonable for D.C. They want me to write more but I don't have more to say. Really I can't submit with what I just wrote? They want your review, but it has to be a certain amount of words or it doesn't go thru. Enough already. I'm at the bottom of the page.

Older hotel but the freshup makes it nice. Staff was very nice and Italian restaurant located beside the hotel served pretty good food. Hotel garage was a little confusing to access when I arrived but was able to figure out. Only a couple minutes from NW DC. I would stay there again.

Relatively inexpensive lodging in DC close to the metro. An older building, but clean and quiet. Nice university neighborhood. Parking extra, and garage old. No free breakfast. But cheap compared to most D.C. Hotels. You get what you pay for.

Decent hotel. Very clean. Close to the metro station. Wi-Fi wasn't up to par.

The experience was good but far from downtown and the cost of taxi was a lot and the time on the train was a lot.

This is an older but renovated hotel. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, so it was a good value. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby with easy access to Metro.

No restaurants around...small mini pillows...bathroom outdated...one small elevator.

The room was excellent. But the carpet outside had terrible odor

The other guests were super loud and the walls were thin. But overall the room was clean and fairly comfortable.

If you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay during a trip to D.C., this is it. Small, clean rooms, friendly staff, no food, pool, gym room.

Definitely an older building but the room was very clean. Staff was very friendly. Very convenient location to restaurants and to our main objective the following day, the Zoo. We were able to leave our car in their lot until 3pm the day of our checkout as to save on parking at the Zoo. The bus runs from the hotel block and drops you off at the Zoo entrance within about 5-10 minutes ( very convenient)

In the city close to the Metro. Awesome Italian restaurant next door. Staff very helpful. Rooms small and no refrigerator.

This Days Inn is an older place though parts, like our room, has been renovated fairly recently. There are areas that do look a bit worn and paint has been put over paint and a bit less attractive. However, everything worked well, it was clean and the best part was the staff who were very nice, very friendly and very helpful. We were there for its proximity to American University and it was close enough. The area also had restaurants, a Starbucks, a CVS, a four level Burger King and a small store a few blocks south. Though, certainly, it was certainly not a 'late night' social area as around Cleveland or Woodley Park. the Metro, was only a few minutes walk away, very convenient.

Easy acess to the Metro to get into D.C. Has a great restaurant next-door.
