Great central location, frendly staff. The doors closing is too noisy, especially, when the housekeeping is checking the rooms during the day.

Very Close to Verizon center. Hotel staff were very nice. Breakfast buffet was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay

I stayed there with my 2 teenagers from 12-29 through 1-1. It was a great experience. The hotel is only about 10 mins from DCA and all the things you want to see are just few mins uber drives from the hotel; you could walk if you like but it was a bit cold for us. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They gave us ideas of where to go for New Years Eve and even stored our bags on the last day so we can enjoy the rest of our day baggage free. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Excellent location near many attractions and metro station. Staff is very nice and helpful.

Excellent location. Near museums, restaurants, movies, and metro. Loved it here! Excellent, helpful staff.

We had a pleasant experience from the minute we walked in the door. The valet (even though we didn't use it) and the front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. Check-in took a little longer than it has for me elsewhere, but they were completely booked and busy (as Adele was performing), so it was expected and not an issue. The hotel itself is absolutely breathtaking and we enjoyed seeing the vault downstairs at the Bistro and learning about some of the history of the building when it was a bank. The room was sizable and we had a decent view of the busy street corner below, so it was fun to do a little people watching from the window. The Verizon Center was an easy 2 block walk from the Courtyard Washington Convention Center. In addition to the convenience of the venue, 100+ restaurants, stores, and attractions were within walking distance of the hotel. The beds weren't the most comfortable, but we had such a fun time in the city that we still slept like babies!

Very handy for the metro into the tourist areas. Loved the building. All the staff were very personable and took time to help us and answer questions.

Hands down, best part about the hotel, being above GB. It's a great place to eat and drink in the evenings after work. If you are looking for a hotel in Penn Quarter, check this one out. Also, there is a pool and nice cafe downstairs with excellent options - both tasty and healthy.

The staff at the Courtyard by Marriott Washington Convention Center were simply the best ever. Super friendly and helpful during our entire stay. When we go back to DC, we have decided that this is the place for us to stay. The hotel is in the most perfect location to everything.

Very nice hotel in a great location. I walked everywhere. I recommend that you purchase the breakfast option. A la Carte is too pricey.

The hotel was very nice, had a great pool and workout room, and two business centers. Rooms were clean and nice. The hotel is on the same block as Ford's Theater and across the street from the Smithsonian's Museum of American Art / Portrait Gallery. Both are free and AWESOME! There are a lot of restaurants within a block or two as well.

The location and staff were absolutely fantastic! The most helpful and courteous staff I've ever experienced. They meet you once and will know your name the rest of your stay.

Hotel is in a great central location. Just about all sites are within walking distance. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Very clean establishment. The small cafe at the lower level was very convenient and delicious (serving Starbucks coffee). When I come back to Washington D.C. I will be booking a room here.

very convince and good location, I might come again

Restaurants, nightlife, shopping, garage parking, 1 block from a major Metro Stop (Gallery Pl/Chinatown), walking distance to Smithsonian & National Mall, walking distance to White House. ...And they even gave the family a "Thank You" frosted-cookie at checkout. I will stay here again.

I took my mom to DC for her birthday and we stayed here. The valet employee that helped us upon arrival was the GREATEST. She was super nice and patient. We had a lot of luggage due to the fact that we were also traveling with my 3 year old and my 1 year old. A few days before we arrived, I called to see if our room would have a microwave, the employee that I spoke with ensured us that we would get a room with a microwave, which we did. All of the employees (except one) were great. Very friendly and willing to help. I only had a couple of issues with my stay. First being, the employee that checked us in was not very customer friendly. She never looked me in the face and she was very robotic. It seemed she was concerned with what was going on behind me. I even turned around to look because i was curious as to what was catching her attention. The second issue I had was the room as far as it being kid friendly. Both of my children hit their heads on the handle for the nightstands/dresser. They have sharp edges. Also, there was no bath tub so we had to give the little ones a shower. They didn't like it too much because they didn't like water getting in their eyes. Lastly my oldest scratched his finger on the floor length mirrir in the room. I will definitely stay here again when i plan my next trip to DC. I'll just be sure to spend a little extra for a more family friendly room.

great location good restaurant at hotel nice rooms good staff

The hotel is located in a great location, within walking distance to the monuments and museums. It was quiet and comfortable.

This is our third stay and it is consistently excellent. The rooms, beds, pillows, and breakfast are always on the mark - never a complaint. If you want to be in the center of good resturants, museums, etc. then this is your place at a great price. All employees have always been friendly, helpful, and professional.

great experience perfect location all they need is a better parking set up
