The Space:
The home can comfortably sleep 8 guests, with the home spread over three floors, there is plenty of space to spread out! The primary and second bedroom are on the 2nd floor with two gorgeous bathrooms, and then a fully finished bright basement with one bedroom and a separate bathroom with a queen size sofa bed.

Modern, open plan living greets you as you walk in, a large smart TV, kitchen and island with modern appliances. Enjoy the private garden in the back to sit back and relax for your morning cup of coffee, or evening glass of wine in the warmer months. Excellent wifi, washer/dryer are included.

The Neighborhood:
Capitol Hill is the largest historic residential neighborhood in Washington DC, stretching easterly in front of the United States Capitol along wide avenues. It is one of the oldest residential communities in Washington, and, with roughly 35,000 people in just under 2 square miles (5 km), it is also one of the most densely populated. If you feel like taking a stroll, Eastern Market or Trader Joes is less than 20 minutes walk. Find your fresh food, local produce, art and crafts, fresh flowers, baked goods, candles, artisan cheeses and unique DC souvenirs. It is a perfect place to find a little something to remember your trip by.

Also close by Lincoln Park which is a beautiful walk, with many shops and restaurants around!

96 bus 6 minute walk from our home to E Capitol St NE & Tennessee Av NE takes you direct to the Capitol in less that 20 minutes.
