Gave this rating a four star, as I couldn't get phone signal, unless I was stood in the car park, so struggled a bit when trying to communicate with work. Part from that, I liked my room, even tho it could of done with a fresh lick of paint, all the staff was very friendly, and helpful, the food was nice couldn't fault any of it. I would stay again, but not as a good trip, due to phone signal.
I held my wedding there this weekend and was blown away by the service, amazing food, professionalism of Mark, Mike, Natalie and Claire! And all the folks in the kitchen who made our day a fantastic emotional atmosphere that made us and all our guess feel like absolute royalty!!!! Not enough stars to award on trip advisor!!! 😡
I had my wedding at The Millers, both the ceremony and reception. My stay could not have been any more perfect. The staff were always friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. They made an otherwise nerve wracking experience easy and pleasurable! Even our dogs were allowed to stay there! All my guests absolutely loved their experience there and I highly recommend it for your wedding experience. Thank you once again to Mark, Claire and the team - you were AMAZING! Xx
We stayed overnight here recently as we were going to a wedding near by. We arrived prior to our due check in time but they very kindly ensured one of our rooms was ready so that we could get changed. In fact, the other two rooms were ready soon afterwards. Rooms were clean & functional and the staff we came across were all friendly & helpful. Breakfast was good. I notice that some reviewers have commented on noisy rooms. We were at the back of the hotel and had no problem whatsoever.
Millers has a great ambience and friendly helpful staff. We visited midweek and enjoyed a restful time on our sodjourn across the Midlands. Passing from the hotel to the bar you pass over a waterwheel and enter a lovely ambience. We loved the curry lunch which provided both quality and quantity. A great find just off the A5.
Been here a few times for family meal, food is always good with a good selection on menu. Only down dies is the service can be a little bit on the slow side, so wouldn't go if you were on a timescale Most recent visit I ordered dessert and after 20 mins had to ask again as I thought they'd forgot The layout of Restuarant is very good, and from what we've seen when visiting they do themed entertainment evening, which we keep meaning to try All in all a good place to visit
We had our annual weekend with friends at the Millers what a wonderful find I cannot praise I enough if your looking for somewhere to stay in Nuneaton area you cannot go wrong. Wonderful staff who work like Trojans a lovely restaurant with lots of choice and lovely breakfasts too and cooked to order nothing was too much trouble definitely the best service at a hotel in the UK I have received. Just a tiny couple of negatives Wi-Fi poor well in our room anyway and Bar closes dead on 11 no late bar for residents which I found surprising but can highly recommend and will definitely return again.
I stayed at The Millers most weeks for a couple of years; it became home from home with friendly staff on reception, in the bar and for breakfast. Rooms are OK, ask not to be on main road side. Breakfast is outstanding, Bar food is great value with a good selection and they also usually serve up until 10pm, which worked for me as I liked to head out for an open water swim nearby at Bosworth Water or Mallory Park with the latter being a good choice for Triathlon training as, in a addition to swimming, I could ride and run too. Thanks to Mark and the team at The Millers.
All perfectly adequate for the money. Rooms quite compact but comfortable double bed, plenty of pillows etc. Tea coffee and biscuits, WiFi, flat screen tv, hair dryer, iron and board. Decent shower and toiletries all provided. A good breakfast also included. Whats not to like :0)
First time visitors to this exceptionally clean and well-appointed hotel and it will not be our last: in fact another visit already booked less than 24 hours after returning home! From the moment you drive up to "The MIllers" you can see that pride is taken in keeping the outside of the hotel and car-parking area (which is very large with good sized spaces -important when trying to take wheelchairs, cases and buggies out of the back of a car!!!) immaculate and this continues as you access the building itself. All areas of the hotel are absolutely spot-less. Our friends had made the original booking and the hotel responded to their request that I had a ground-floor room. The room was large enough that I managed to walk around, (using 2 crutches) without tripping over anything and i was able to access toilet and bath. Brilliant. I could, also, access very easily the bar/dining area. Check-in was very easy with friendly, pleasant staff who were really efficient and welcoming. The food was delicious and I liked that the Breakfasts were cooked to order. As a very fussy eater I was not short of options at breakfast or lunch or dinner. Thoroughly enjoyed the meals we had. The excellent hospitality skills of the staff were evident with everyone we met from the front desk, the duty manager (Mark), all the bar staff and the cleaning staff - always smiling and happy to help. For us the hospitality is the reason we ever return to a hotel as you will see from other reviews!! Thank you to everyone at "The MIllers". We had a really brilliant weekend and you all contributed to that. Have a good summer see you soon
