I just wanted to say a big thanks to Brian who works in reception and also Carl who works in the restaurant. Brian was very good throughout. Carl was excellent when it came to serving breakfast every morning. They ran out of hash browns. Carl was so good he came over and gave us a fresh and hot breakfast to our table. The room was really nice and clean. I would go back again. My only negative thing about the hotel is the £5 a day parking charge fee on weekends. Brilliant 24 hour gym facility and breakfast was just the best. Apart from that our stay was excellent.
Needed a hotel which was dog friendly and this was the only one available. Dog friendly apparently means it can stay in your room but can't go anywhere else, so it should really be dog tolerant as we couldn't even take her into the bar like in most pubs. Reception and public areas draw you in nicely. Friendly staff and a very good breakfast (which got it the third star). Room was very 1990's. Bed uncomfortable, stained carpets, sticky furniture. Poor wifi in the room. Not a lot for £130. There must be better out there because this isn't the Hilton brand I grew up with.
We stayed in the Warwick Hilton after attending a funeral. On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was on the ground floor. The room itself was on the small size but clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. At breakfast the next morning we were greeted by the head chef Carl and went on to enjoy the best breakfasts that we've had in any Hilton group hotel. The bar staff were friendly but as usual prices in the bar were high. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay in the Warwick/Stratford area.
Everything was absolutely great from service to products. Reception staff were very efficient and the restaurant and bar offer a wide range of amazing beverage and culinary experiences. Don't miss the stylish fire place at the bar it's a real addition to a wonderful atmosphere.
For a business traveller this is an ideal place. Situated very close to the motorway with a large car park with plenty of spaces. Large business lounge with tables spaced apart so you can have a confidential discussion. Staff are friendly and on the ball. Top marks!
Very convenient location - 2 mins from M40 and Warwick Castle! Hotel itself is ok, rooms small and a little dated but very clean. The staff were all very nice and helpful. Best part of the stay was breakfast where there is so much choice and there is an egg chef who freshly prepared whatever you fancy! The bar is expensive.... £10.75 for a glass of average wine but there's a Harvester only a 1 minute walk away with standard prices if the cost bothers you! You have to pay for parking- £5 per day for residents in the week. This hotel was great for us as we didn't spend much time using facilities as we were at a wedding not far away. Perfect hotel for a business trip or alike but probably not great if you're going to require lots of facilities.
Stayed one night, in transit home. The room was comfortable and quiet and we had a good night's sleep. No problems on that front. The bar and restaurant were another issue. A large and very noisy pre-dinner group filled the bar, making it impossible to get a drink. There seemed to be nowhere to escape to. We gave up and ordered dinner in the restaurant. My fish pie was so dried up, it was uneatable. The staff member apologised and did not charge us for it. Next morning at breakfast, the bacon was very salty and overcooked and the "fried" eggs were actually poached in warm vegetable oil - we watched as they were cooked in front of us at the buffet - they were unpleasant. Surely it cannot be beyond the capability of Hilton to fry an egg properly. Disappointing. I do't think we will stay again.
My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend in October and we were both very underwhelmed. The hotel is very tired and in desperate need of a refurb, it’s also very noisy too. The rooms are very small and worn out, with outdated and old fashioned furniture, they are clean however. The staff are not great either, with it being an effort to serve with a smile, it very much felt like they were simply going through the motions. One positive is the breakfast which is very good, lots of choice and good quality food. On the whole disappointing, we will think twice about returning, not up to Hilton standards.
The hotel is old, staff are excellent but this is a traveloge standard. They need to sell it and build another. No lounge either. Breakfast was excellent but the bar menu was poor. Parking was at a charge for a hotel on the outskirts of town. Stayed at plenty of Hilton’s and this was a motel standard.
Stayed for 3 nights, very nice, clean and welcoming. Lovely breakfast each morning. Rooms were warm and comfortable, nice restaurant. Menu wasn't very extensive, and had trouble finding a meal my husband and 2 daughters would all enjoy, but that was my only negative really, as well as drinks were a little expensive. But overall Would definitely stay again.
