We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, but we did have a problem accessing the internet as it was intermittent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Its location is just off the motorway and a short distance to Warwick and Stratford upon Avon.
Good location just off the motorway yet pretty quiet traffic wise. Very pleasant and helpful staff on the front desk and the bar and waiting staff were both efficient and friendly both in the evening and at breakfast the following morning. We actually hired a meeting room too which was well laid out and efficiently run. The downside and there were some. I was in a club room with a linked door between rooms - the insulation or sound proofing was non existent - could even hear my fellow guest going to the loo - and the fact that he/she had their TV on until 2am and again at 5am did not add to a good nights sleep. OK perhaps they weren't too courteous with the TV but they were in their own room so we're quite entitled to watch TV - this is simply down to poor design. The internet access in the club rooms at the far end of the second floor is a complete waste of time and although given as free is pretty much unusable. The phone access is equally hopeless - I am on vodaphone and had less than one bar on the phone. Incidentally this also applied to my colleagues who had different suppliers whose reception was equally bad. Those with 3 and 4g access on their phones just didn't get any emails during the day and were all hit with a flood of emails as soon as they left the hotel. The toilet flush system in the room was also in dire need of replacement.
We didn't expect to receive the fantastic service we received from the staff at Hilton in Warwick. We only booked for 1 night so hardly a big earner for the hotel but we were made to feel so welcome and valued. Every member of staff we came across said hello and smiled, the check in / out reception staff were great. The hotel itself is clean and tidy but the rooms were a little dated. The rooms were clean and had everything you needed but just a little dated. Overall a fantastic weekend away and a very happy customer who will return!
Superb hotel in good location with say access to Stratford upon Avon and Warwick. Staff extremely obliging good overall experience - would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends in the future
I'm curious about some of the reviews, this was a last minute option literally last Christmas and on arrival your heart sank, yet from the second we went inside and the whole time we were there, I couldn't find fault what so ever. Three days, and nothing was amiss what so ever. The staff were great, every effort was made and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. The food was also pretty darned good. Just when we thought we were going to have a rubbish festive break, this place changed that completely, my only single down comment is its location but otherwise that is it.
Traveling on business, the Hilton Warwick provided comfortable accommodations during my travels. The room was nicely appointed, quiet, and provided what I needed to get necessary rest. The restaurant was sufficient for both dinner and breakfast --- no issues or recommendations for improvement to speak of.
Comfortable room but very dark with little natural light.(ground floor) clean though and massive TV. Food was good especially breakfast, loving the waffle maker. Staff were charming but special mention to Brian on front desk who was very attentive and added a very personal touch to the booking in and out process which I think is most important. Promote this man! The only thing I would say would be this is more of a motel than a smart Hilton, stuck in a 1980s time warp. Nothing wrong with that if you like a bit of retro!
Quick, efficient check in. Nice modern room with clean bathroom, security safe and excellent internet. Fast, efficient elevators. Excellent breakfast – full English breakfast as well as lots of pastries, juice, waffles, fruit, coffee – no one should leave the breakfast buffet hungry. Convenient location near major roads – short drive to Coventry and Stratford on Avon. Harvester restaurant a short walk away, providing a choice to the hotel restaurant
rating the Hilton Warwick as a 3.2 Hinge (scale 1-5) as it is a very nice place with fine public spaces / dining areas (the breakfast was much better when it comes to variety as compared to Waterloo Plaza in london. The room amenities were fine but gets a few points knocked off as it is somewhat dated in the rooms / bathrooms.
This is supposedly a 'full fat' Hilton, but in reality it's a motel just off the M40. Usefully located for where I needed to be in Warwick, but from there on the experience crumbles. I needed to stay two, non- consecutive nights in the same week. The reception staff couldn't care less - the second time the young lady didn't even make eye contact. The 'Honours' lane supposedly kept for members to check in quickly was used for whomever - I don't believe in queue-jumping, but being a Diamond member should bring some benefits, as it shows significant brand loyalty each year. The food is beyond London prices - just a cheeseburger on room service is £21, with no extras, etc. The rooms are tired, the makeover seems to be large Samsung TVs, and the beds and bedding are not as good as a Premier Inn, by some margin. The final straw came when housekeeping tried to break into my room this morning, the day of checkout - after staying a single night. Are these things not checked? I had both the handle lock on, and - fortunately - the frame deadlock. I say fortunately, because the male housekeeping operative was able to bypass the handle lock and try and come straight into the room. What if I'd been a single female traveller? This is entirely unacceptable and shows this hotel has no schedule. There are hotels across the road to use which will be better than this.
