We always try to stay at this motel when we go to see the grandkids. We have NEVER been disappointed. It is such a clean, nice motel. I can't even start to say enough about their help. Everyone is so courteous and helpful. This is probably our favorite motel in everywhere we have stayed. Keep up the good work Comfort Inn, Warrensburg!

The hotel was clean; the breakfast was decent; the bed was comfortable. We had some issues with our AC unit, but were able to open the window to cool off (we didn't call the lobby, which was our decision). We would definitely stay here again.

This is my 7th year in a row to stay at this property. Very clean and friendly. Good breakfast for the price. Good value. Comfortable beds. Clean and nice bathroom and vanity areas. Best stay in Warrensburg.

I have stayed at many 4 and 5 Star hotels and their rooms were no cleaner than these. And more importantly, no matter what I say here it cannot be good enough to describe the way I have been treated by the staff at this location. I can only find two or three things wrong with this location but they are not their fault: 1) I cannot take them with me wherever I go, 2) it doesn't have a beach with palm trees outside to enjoy, and 3) I have to pay money to stay here. Like I said, this place is by far one of the best places I've ever stayed because every time I stay here, the staff make me feel right at home. In fact, on more than one occasion, as I have stayed here many times, I have spoke to others while eating breakfast who feel the same way I do and make the point to always stay here when traveling through this area. I genuinely feel as though the General Manager treats this hotel as her home and we are her personal guests. Awesome!!!

1 -- Reviewer has not stayed in many similarly-priced hotels. 2 -- The weather has been terrible. 3 -- People have unrealistic expectations about others but ignore their own shortcomings. This may be the highest-rated hotel for the price ($82 on a Wednesday night for 2 in Non-Smoking King Room 114) that we have ever stayed in. We're talking 100s. And little things like a can of soda on the night stand; desk lamp with 2 plug-ins to charge I-pad AND cell phone; small table in a spacious bathroom; excellent breakfast; comfortable lounge chair. Worth the 15-mile drive south from I-64. Outside noise is the only "maybe" BUT we always use earplugs anyway.

We haven't even checked out yet and I have to brag about the fantastic staff here. We are staying a week to meet our very young grandchildren for the first time. Everything about this place is homey. Santa just happened to be there when our grandchildren were there; sitting by the fireplace handing out candy canes. My babies were so thrilled they wiggled past us and cut the line screaming SANTA! Turns out, he is the husband on one of the staff members who volunteered his time to come to the hotel. We even found a stocking from Santa outside our door this morning! Saying thank you is inadequate. Our room was extremely clean and the staff is over to top accommodating. We experienced their Platinum Service first hand! Congratulations. You certainly earned it. We will be staying here each time we visit the grands in Warrensburg. We'll feel like we're coming home.

Here for a weekend. The hotel smells fresh and clean. It's a quiet place. The staff is friendly. I told them before coming that I'm highly allergic to smoke and got to my room to find a filter plugged in and going. This is a non smoking hotel now but like many others was not at one point. I haven't smelled any smoke or had any allergy issues. The pool area like the rest of the hotel is very clean. Breakfast was fresh and above average for hotel type of free breakfasts. The only problem is there are not enough tables to sit at. I think by making the breakfast cut off a little longer this could be avoided as 9:30 is kinda early for the non business traveler. Leisure travelers want to sleep later. Rooms are nice and they are updated. All in all a great little place In Warrensburg.

The staff was amazing. Was given a room with the toilet would not stop running. Informed the staff and they changed our room and gave us an upgrade. Want to say thank you to everyone that works there.

The front desk people were really friendly and let us know what time breakfast was and where the pool and fitness room were. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Only thing to complain about what that we were in room 109, which was literally the 1st room when you walked in. So everyone that walked by, we could clearly hear every word they were saying. When the lights were off in our room, you could see the lights from the hallway, like there was a lot of space there, which allowed all the noise to travel in. I woke up multiple times to people walking around and talking. Also our room had a strange smell to it.. I wasn't quite sure what is was though. Also the WiFi sucks like at night when everyone is on it. If you can wait, wait until morning if you have important stuff to do. Other wise everything was good. Breakfast had a lot of options. Oh, and the parking sucks. It's like a giant hill down. We parked on the side of the building near our room and the car scraped every time we drove to our spot. Rather annoying...

We stayed here for our 3-night visit instead of a B&B, since it was a last minute decision to go and I could not find a B&B in the area where I was looking that was within our price range. This was a good alternative based on cost, location, and the fact that they served a decent hot breakfast every morning. The staff was very friendly and one gal even remembered a conversation from the previous day, and asked about whether I enjoyed my visit to the Truman Museum and Library (which I did, by the way). The room was clean and comfortable and as I said, breakfast was decent with scrambled eggs and either sausage patties or bacon, biscuits and gravy, and the always available waffle maker for fresh, hot waffles. There were also a variety of breads and fruit, along with yogurt and cereals, etc. I cannot, however, give this hotel a five, due to a couple of things. First, when we checked in (around 7 PM), the lady at the desk did not offer any information about the hotel, such as when breakfast was served, what time checkout was, or where the pool and exercise rooms were located. Were it not for the Info notebook in the room, we'd have been clueless. She didn't even mention the wifi and let us know the password. Had it not been written down on the back of the key card envelope we'd have been clueless about that too. The second thing was that, although this hotel is supposed to be completely non-smoking, when opened the door to our room (Rm 126), there was a strong cigarette odor that greeted us at the door. I went back to the front desk and told the lady there, who tried to find us a different room for our stay, but could not move us as the hotel was booked solid for the weekend. So instead, she "refreshed" the room (probably sprayed with some Febreze or other similar product) to get rid of the odor and then gave us a discount on the room since we were pretty much stuck with it. So that alleviated the odor for one night, but it was right back the next night when we returned from our day out and about. I hope they do a deep clean on that room and can alleviate that cigarette smell because it was definitely a black mark against our weekend. Overall I would recommend this hotel, despite the issues, although I recommend you check in during regular business hours, as the others staff at the desk may be more forthcoming with the info we did not get. I would also recommend, if you get assigned to room 126 that you ask if it was thoroughly cleaned after the weekend of October 15, 2016 because you read that it smelled like stale cigarettes. :-)
