Really nice hammock
It clean and close to the mountain. They do not have staff at the hotel. It snowed one night and a plow truck did not arrive until 10am, making me late for the event that signed up (and paid for, the reason why I was there). No one at the hotel was able to leave. Other guest at the hotel shoveled the common area, no one from the hotel helped with the situation at all. Would not recommend for a winter stay if you have any sort of schedule.
Nice place to stay in rural VT
endless texts demanding responses before we even left for vacation. whole place smelled musty. no one mans the desk or interacts even though the owner is on sight. tiny room with shower one could just fit in.
I especially liked the backyard with small trout pond, gazebo, picnic tables, chairs and fire pit. Exceptional cleanliness and helpful friendly staff.

Rooms are small but functional. Staff are very helpful. Everything is very clean and well maintained. Breakfast is fresh prepared and excellent. Fresh baked cookies each day in the lobby area. Very quiet at night.

Bob was great host with directions and ideas about areas to visit. Great and welcoming. Breakfast was great with variety. Allen’s pastries were excellent. We purchased coffee to take home same as served. Highly recommend!

On the day of your stay, we experienced an unusually rapid snowfall. Our contracted plow service is typically very reliable and scheduled to clear the parking lot by 7:30 AM. Unfortunately, they encountered unexpected mechanical difficulties with their equipment on that particular morning, which led to the delay. Our innkeepers did their utmost, shoveling multiple times to manage the snow accumulation as efficiently as possible.We understand that this was not the ideal situation, especially when you had important events to attend.
