Giving a nice rating because of location and room/bed comfort. Staff was friendly and pleasant; got a good recommendation for a great local seafood restaurant -- the Summer Shack. A few minor annoyances: - there are 2 buildings with different facilities and check-in desks. As the address says, this ...
We were looking for a basic, clean hotel that would house us and our large family during a nearby family reunion. This fit the bill to a T. Basic kid-friendly amenities include a heated indoor pool, and the breakfast buffet was perfect. It's not fancy, but it's pleasant and clean, and the pool is ...
bedroom, and living area/kitchen were very clean and updated. Good wifi. Excellent bedding and towels. Convenient bathroom area with double sinks outside, then tub and toilet in separate room. We stayed late fall, but there is a nice clean outdoor pool w patio area that although this is a chain hotel ...
We stayed at this hotel as my husband had an appointment at MA General Waltham. The bed was comfortable. He commented that since it was raining that there should be an overhang over the entrance to accommodate access to the car due to the rain. Breakfast was o.k. but the hot food was cold.
The good: Kitchen in the room itself -- they're not kidding when they say extended stay! The bad: Couldn't figure out where the supposed continental breakfast was, (though to be fair, I didn't have spare time to ask; so I just settled for the oatmeal and muffins I did find down there). The ugly: ...

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was new and clean. Rooms were comfortable. Great facilities. Good breakfast.
bedroom, and living area/kitchen were very clean and updated. Good wifi. Excellent bedding and towels. Convenient bathroom area with double sinks outside, then tub and toilet in separate room. We stayed late fall, but there is a nice clean outdoor pool w patio area that although this is a chain hotel verges on quaint. Also a small workout room w decent equipment. We have stayed before in Hyatt Place, which have a feng shui suite kind of design w wet bar, but without a kitchen area..more like Embassy Suites arrangement. This is our first stay at a Hyatt Place, but in contrast, it is really like a mini executive long term apartment feel, which we really liked! Very convenient and well-designed kitchenette, which had a complete set of dishes, pots/pans, dishwaster, microwave, full refrigerator all in a small space that felt spacious, very functional and also with 2-stool counter. We only stayed one night, but could see that the kitchen and living room couch area were very livable if you were staying longer, complete with full ironing board stashed in an extra storage closet. Didn't use the pull-out couch, but loved the sectional design, with ottoman, and separate long section. Having tvs in both living area and bedroom was nice too. We are going to check and see where other Hyatt House locations are, and try to stay when we travel!
One of the best. Character and location Historical
Great front desk staff, amenities and rooms. Their concierge staff was lacking and failed to provide advertised complementary services after several calls over several hours. Other than that, it is a pretty nice hotel.
