The good: Kitchen in the room itself -- they're not kidding when they say extended stay! The bad: Couldn't figure out where the supposed continental breakfast was, (though to be fair, I didn't have spare time to ask; so I just settled for the oatmeal and muffins I did find down there). The ugly: Room was almost entirely clean, but the one bit of dirt was on the bed.

everything at this hotel was wonderful. stayed here a week and was a perfect little apartment. can't find a better value. i knew the location so i knew i would need a car to get anywhere so do not expect there to be a lot of restaurants outside your door. but if that doesn't bother you i can't stress enough how great this place is.

The Hotel was ok, it was a last minute booking and the only thing available. The room was a very nice efficiency style, with full refrigerator, stove, sink and cabinets. Even had a dishwasher,. More set up for several days of stay or mainly for a business trip, I gather. Room was very tastefully furnished and carpeted and in great shape. I did notice the mirrors in the bathroom were not cleaned they had hand prints and smudges all over them. Kind of a turn off for me. The other down fall is the hotel doesn't have a decent breakfast. Breakfast consist of granola bars and packaged muffins and fruit (Apples, Oranges and Bananas). Also has a small gym and from what I could see you enter and exited through the breakfast area. kind of an odd place for this. Did not go in the pool but it looked nice. No lounge/bar either. I guess for the location the price was ok.

Our reservation went as planned and we didn't encounter any issues. In fact, we found that they were quite accommodating. The only issue I encountered was that the bed frame may have been slightly broken and slanted down on one side more than the other. Otherwise, it was clean and tidy. Comfy and roomy. I enjoy Extended Stay and find them to have better value than other motels. It's a 15-20 minute drive to Boston and we found driving into Boston easy and breezy.

Liked the smoking option, most hotels don't have that -and if you smoke inside then this is where u want to stay. Room was not bad, had everything but compact. Only issue was late checkout- since we were so close to Boston, we asked for a late checkout of 12pm - which we were told was not a problem (even asked if noted due to issues in past)- next morning received a call that we were past checkout time (11:15)? I advised them that we opted for late checkout but no, we had to rush and get out... We also needed to print our tickets and was informed they would be at the front desk, I'm glad we didn't print them because we waited about 15min in the lobby and there was a sign up that they were "away..." Ended up going to staples near by and renting a computer to print the tickets.... I would stay there again bc of the convience and smoking rooms...But not worth the price.

It was very nice and clean staff there was very friendly it was nice in convenient for the location I had a go to I like the kitchenette hi dear I cook myself my own meal and I could hold waters in my fridge raider it was a very pleasant stay from the time I checked in from the time I checked out

Very clean suite, all you need BUT no maid service. Stayed 4 days, had to make the bed and replace towels myself each day. Breakfast has nothing for a diabetic to eat and no decaf coffee.

I think some of the reviews are from their competitors. Unlike many of the reviews, my stay was excellent. The room was absolutely clean and better than expected. The service is another story. They were slow and housekeeping did not even clean my room. None of that really mattered because the slow service makes only 2-3 minutes difference and I don't make a lot of mess anyway.

nothing great ! just what you would expect! would ideally pay about mid 70's for this hotel

just a complete dump. Dirty and full of grubby people.

Seedy overall. I had a "non-smoking" room which apparently was a smoker room not too long ago, as even though there indeed was fresher paint on the ceiling and walls, the nicotine stains permently stained the perimeters of the mirror, sprinkler heads, thermostat control, air cond., and all the wire shelving in the closet. If i was not so completely exhausted when i got there, i would have gone next door to the Westin and paid WHATEVER they wanted to charge me.

The room description was misleading. It said: "Deluxe studio-queen bed deluxe studio-queen bed sleeper sofa kitchen dining and work area non smoking." So I thought there would be 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa, but it turned out to be 1 queen bed and 1 full-size sleeper sofa. So I requested for a different room, but they told me that all rooms are the same. The kitchen was okay. Dishes, cups, utensils, pots and pans are provided. Dishwasher and detergent too. They charge $4.99 for internet access.

;) good place quite :( Room not cleen and under beds and sofa Ok for single not family

the room was very neat, clean, and comfortable i would definitely recommend this hotel :]

Room had an odor, & staff was unable to print my boarding pass. generally, very average.

I was basically looking for a place to spend the night. Was visiting Boston and couldnt find any other place so landed up here. It was my first time at Extended Stay and I was really happy once I reached the place. I was upgraded to a room with kitchen! Location of the hotel may seem really away from the city (16 miles) but once you see a Westin and a Marriot (if I remember correctly) right adjacent to it, you feel comfortable and safe. Its a 15-20 minutes drive from Boston city. Room (mine was a studio) was clean and big enough for me and my wife. We had no children. It was extremely worth the money for me. For the same price I have had to stay at not-so-great motels previously. This was definitely worth the visit and I would stay at this place again if visiting Boston or a nearby city.

The room was clean and spacious for two people. The only complaint my husband made was their TV set in the room.It doesn't have to be a flat screen TV but something more decent would have been better. The color was so off and you can't see any letters/numbers/scores during the Boston Bruins game.

i was there for an event in newton, ma. the location is very remote. did not venture into waltham proper. enjoyed the westin hotel bar & restaurant which are ver convenient next door within walking distance. very strange there was no housecleaning available-found towel laundry. complimentary breakfast only mon-fri - i was there over a weekend/no compliments. room was clean upon arrival but desk chair had scmootz on seat. security was med-low. cabfare to newton, 7-8 miles away, ran about $40. used t-train from alewife station to get into boston-$25cab.

Rooms were clean and being an extended stay, having the plates was great because we ordered pizza and definitely needed them. Also the fridge was a great bonus for the cold ones.

... at a fair price!
