a very nice surprise. i booked the Crescent suits because it was lower in cost that the other hotels in the region. to my surprise it was an awesome place. Large clean rooms, comfortable bed and furniture. close to many restaurants in walking distance. a very nice and welcoming staff.

Unfortunately, the hotel did NOT have my confirmed/paid by CC reservation made through ORBITZ. This was at the time that Brandeis was opening for students so hotels were minimal. This hotel found me a room anyway, which was their last available and I was very lucky to get a room after my 9 hour drive. Great service, very nice accommodations. But call directly. Do not go through an online booking company. Not the hotels fault.

Very welcoming hotel... Full self-serve breakfast, including speciality coffees and full kitchen in room for long- time stays

The hotel was great--clean, convenient (for Watertown), and pleasant. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was good--fresh eggs + cereal, waffles, yogurt, bagels, etc. A little pricey but we stayed during the height of college move-in week. Highly recommended. Would definitely return.

Overall the hotel was very good. Room was clean, staff was very nice and it was nice having a small kitchen. Location was just ok, hotel is nestled in a fairly residential neighborhood. No T stops close by. Closest T location is a drive to riverside station. If you are not willing to drive in and out of Boston you should stay elsewhere. Breakfast was included and is your pretty typical continental breakfast, it was handy to grab breakfast there and then head out for the day. The bathroom was very small and not that functional, had to shut the door just to wash your hands so that you could get to the towels hung behind the door. Not a big deal. Only other criticism would be that the carpet in our room was very worn and had bleach stains on it. It's unfortunate because the room was very clean and the carpet appearance could leave some people with the feeling that it is not clean. To sum up it was a good stay, and a nice hotel. I really have nothing negative to say about it.

This Hotel is really nice. well maintained near o moody street. a bit expensive but good breakfast. nice and clean rooms.

The hotel and staff were awesome....breakfast in the AM was great each day....lots of choices and was very tasty...Mochas daily were great !!!loved the area out back to walk in the morning by the river....was very quiet and peaceful ......all our needs were fulfilled and would definitely recommend or stay here again...THANK YOU !!!

Room really clean and spacious with all the amenities you would expect from an extended stay hotel. The dispenser was out of shampoo and there was no sugar when we came but that was promptly fixed by the staff, who was very friendly and helpful - thanks! Nice if modest breakfast selection, and availability of espresso coffee makes it so much easier to wake up than in the hotels with only drip coffee available. The location is excellent, walkable distance to many restaurants. Great value, will stay again!

The room was even better than I anticipated. This particular hotel was in the middle of what seemed like a residential neighborhood so I was surprised when I pulled up. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff however (only one person that I came in contact with) was less than desirable. I stood in front of the desk for a good 60 seconds and finally had to say "excuse me" to even get her attention...even then, she didn't look my way, and told me to "wait a sec." Once she gave me her attention, I gave her my name (and spelled it out to be clear) so that she could find my room number. When she handed me a sheet to sign, the paperwork was for a totally different guest with a completely different name. It was very bizarre, but fortunately the lovely room made up for it. The hotel is within walking distance to downtown Waltham and the neighborhood was quiet on the weekend.

Helping our college daughter move in was difficult, but the stay at Crescent Suites was extremely helpful. We had lots of boxes, pre-move-in laundry, packing/unpacking and the hotel amenities were perfect. Location is central to Waltham and quiet. Breakfast is available daily and laundry facilities are perfect for college families. Staff is very helpful and friendly in a genuine person (not corporate) kind of way. Always a very nice stay at Crescent Suites (my third).

Needed a place close to my daughter in waltham for extra family guests coming for a birthday gathering. Exceeded all of our needs

great spot for a meeting in Waltham. full kitchen and separate bedroom in my room. nice and new. helpful staff who offered coffee upon arrival!

Staff was super kind and helpful, always offering me a tea or sparkling water. Room was spacious and clean with free wifi. Free breakfast was also delicious and above and beyond normal hotel free breakfasts. This secluded hotel just outside Boston is a real find.

A home away from home. The staff were wonderful and friendly.

I was visiting my sister and wanted to stay close to her home. This hotel was excellent. Its on the smaller side however the staff and hotel takes a lot of attention to detail. The kitchen was stocked with cookware and minor odds and ends. Breakfast was excellent every morning, with complimentary cafe that can do cappuccinos and eggs made to order. Would stay again. The room was a 1br so we could put our son in the living room in his toddler bed and still have room and a door we could close for privacy as he goes to bed early. It was very easy to get to and gives a much better experience compared to staying in the mega hotels off 95.

We had a great 4-day stay. Very nice room, clean premises and nice breakfast each day. Could be closer to the T, but I would love to stay here again.

Pleasantly surprised. Beautiful. Comfortable. Great furnishings (bed very comfortable, big overstuffed chair, nice desk, big plasma tv), Clean. Terrific restaurant in-hotel. Many nice dining options within a couple blocks. Only issue was parking. Ended up using valet and waited 15 minutes.

If you want an honest opinion about staying here, read this review, you will not regret it. Our stay was the night before Patriot's Day (April 18, 2011)for the annual birthday/Redsox game (my birthday). Staying with my cousin and my brother. We made plans ahead of time to assure that the TV lineup would feature the local broadcast of the Celtics as they were set to play game 2 against the Knicks in a playoff game.We were all set with food and spirits to stay in and soak up some Celts and a festive environment. I got to the suite about a 1/2 hour before everybody else and much to my shock the channel that I was told would have the Celts game was playing a Mary Poppins movie(despite being told the game would definitely be available! To make a long story short...the owner was contacted by the front desk clerk and he had us in a different suite within 10 minutes!!! Talk about saving the evening and totally satisfying the hotel guests! Blew me away! Would highly recommend this location...beautiful, modern suite and even better hotel management and employees. DON'T be fooled by the unassuming location (you'll drive by it if you don't watch yourself)...the place is truly wonderful and we had a great time at this special place.

This hotel was great. [...] the owner was so accomadating. They have onsight laundry and even provide the laundry soap and dryer sheets for the guests. We took a walk on the path down to the lake and really enjoyed our stay.

Very happily surprised by this comfy hotel Great staff, very comfortable spotless rooms with appointed kitchenette & dishwasher If you were inclined you could stay here for weeks & have all the comforts of homeT-station a bit of a walk but not that badWaltham, home to Brandeis & other colleges is going through gentrification & crescent suites is a great addition [...]
