My room was very well presented with a king size bed, lounge and dining table and there was no "motel" cleaning smell. The king size bed was very comfortable, in fact it was hard to get out of bed. The curtains when drawn let no light in and the air conditioner was quiet. I am definitely staying here again.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for four nights. It was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The beds are beautiful, the shower was great, the heating more than adequate and the kitchen was very well equipped for self catering. Ours didn't have a dishwasher though. This didn't bother us and I think it is the only apartment affected. The lock-up garage was a great bonus, as was the courtyard. We were very comfortable for our whole stay and would definitely stay again.
Well-kept rooms, fairly quiet (not on the main highway, but Tarcutta Street gets a bit of traffic, however this didn't impact on my room which was near to the roadside.) It gets very busy on the weekend and parking near your room becomes a luxury as there are not nearly enough parking spaces during busy times, but the rest of the week is quiet so it's not a biggie. The bed is comfortable and they have provided some crockery and cutlery and a microwave so you can make small snacks for yourself. However, there is nowhere to wash them up apart from the bathroom and wild horses won't make me wash up dishes in the bathroom, so you have to leave them for the staff to clean. The free wifi is excellent, probably the best I've seen recently in Australia. You can actually use it for Facetime and browsing is quick and easy. An extra star for this feature. The biggest downside is the rooms are very very dark, the overhead lights have about 2 candlepower and the bathroom is lit by one tiny LED. I had to do my makeup in the main room and buy a makeup mirror. I had to do my craft work outside in the sun which was pleasant, but shouldn't have been necessary. Other than that a very pleasant stay in a comfortable motel with a short walk to town and the river. Would stay again, just might bring a torch next time.
The apartments opposite the main building are very nicely done. Lock up garage is included which makes it safe for your car. The apartment was very spacious with a huge lounge area big kitchen sep dining area and big bedroom with ensuite. There was also an extra bathroom with laundry facilities. One of the best places we have stayed. Will be back when in wagga.
We had an overnight stay in Wagga at short notice on what was a very busy week in Wagga. Luckily enough, we were able to secure a booking at the Best Western-wow is all we can say! Right from check in, the staff were awesome! They took the time to get to know you and couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Our room (we actually stayed in an apartment across the road) was huge and absolutely spotless, with all the amenities you could need for a great longer stay. I'm just disappointed we weren't staying longer! Only a few minutes walk into the Main Street also. The restaurant food was quite simply yummy-fine dining quality-and the service from the staff was warm. I couldn't recommend this place more highly.
Room we had very spacious with a king size bed and the most comfortable mattress we have ever had.Modern, clean with everything you need. The only thing that I didn't like was the lighting in bathroom, not bright enough to do makeup. We had room service from their restaurant, which was delicious but a bit pricey for the size of the meal. Would definitely stay again
Traveling from Melbourne to Orange decided to stay in Wagga. Found Best Western Charles Stuart - what a fund! Spacious rooms, very comfortable beds and a warm welcome at reception. The food in the restaurant was fantastic as was breakfast the next morning. Restaurant staff were a delight. Highly recommend this motel. We will be back.
I recently stayed at this hotel after a very long drive, we did a last minute booking. I was travelling with my Huz and son. We did not arrive until after 11pm. I was so happy to open the door and see the bed, then when we laid on it OMG, it felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. This hotel is the best country hotels I have ever stayed at. It is 10/10 for value for money, we booked last minute and got a bit of a deal, but I have stayed in hotels that cost twice as much, that were not as comfortable as this. The room was clean, generous in size, with a sink and microwave. It is in a great location, central to lots of things. I would highly recommend this hotel.
This Motel certainly ticks all the boxes as far as accomodation is concerned. Very comfortable clean room and bathroom. Certainly lives up to its "plus" status. The Roundabout restaurant above reception is very modern "chic" The Motel is in a great and quiet location for access to the main shopping area.
I have to come to Wagga every three months for work and this is the only place I want to stay in town. Good location with walking distance to shops and restaurants (their own Roundabout restaurant is great too). Staff are always friendly and professional. The rooms are not right on the road so they are more quiet as well and always clean. I really want to thank them for helping me surprise my husband when he flew into Wagga as I had just learnt we were expecting. The Hotel organised everything! Just asked for a budget and filled the room with balloons and flowers while we were out to dinner! Thank you so much Maddie! Can not thank or praise these guys enough!
