The views was beautiful, but the owners was not friendly. And they also had a dog running around their property & stray cats.
Great views and location but the true difference was exceptional service. THEY WERE GREAT!

We stayed May 7th checking out on the 8th, it was way too short a stay. We were greeted warmly and treated like valued friends. I only wish we could have stayed longer. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. After checking out we were allowed to take one of their coolers, pack it with ice and continue to explore the island. They kept our bags at the office, when we returned the towels and cooler, they had a bathroom to shower and change in. They consider all aspects of hospitality.
Two levels of Spanish architecture designed and built around a 250-year-old Tamarind shade tree at its center; Absolutely wonderful to eat our breakfast each morning in open-air restaurant, beneath this lovely tree. Very friendly, helpful staff. Slept like a baby, because of the gentle cooling breeze, screens on louvered windows, ceiling fan. No TVs and no children ruling made for a peaceful,relaxed ten days. We highly recommend this 25-year-old casa situated a few miles inland, elevated overlooking the distant sea. Best were the star filled night skies.

We are so sorry to hear that your stay was less stellar. Our priority is always our guests, so I am sad that you found us unfriendly. Unfortunately, we have been dealing with an electrical crisis, which needed our full attention. It is on it's way to being solved, but that's no excuse for how you felt. We do have a dog, Perdi, who is very friendly and most of our guests love her, I am sorry you found her a nuisance. As for the cats, they were recently abandoned by our neighbors, and it is an issue we are working on solving. We are hoping to have them re-homed in the next couple of days. We appreciate your candor in reflecting your experience. I hope we do better as a result.
