This hotel is centrally located close to the Opera House. The hotel itself is in a quiet area and therefore peaceful. Stayed there for six nights and found the staff to be extremely helpful. Daily room cleaning could be better as sometimes the bathroom was not cleaned. Good place to stay if you are booked for tours as most tour operators pick you up from this hotel. Its better to inform the reception you are waiting for the tour pick up as otherwise the tour driver may not bother to look for you at the reception. All in all, a good stay!

Staff is polite and courteous. Breakfast was good.

Enjoyed my stay. The hotel was comfortable and convenient.

Great base camp for seeing Vienna. Good location, Julia was very helpful at the front desk, housekeeping at times did not replace used coffee/ tea but this was promptly solved by callin the front desk and more than made up for by the overall attentiveness and helpfulness of hotel staff.

Adequate hotel, a 2 star not a 4 star. Room was a bit dirty, and air barely worked. Bathroom area not very nice. Looked 30-40 years old. Was worst hotel for a 6 country tour of Europe. BUt most front desk people spoke English

We had just an 18-hour layover in Vienna in October 2014, and had such a restful, welcoming stay at the Hotel Am Konzerthaus. Our room was gorgeous, just dazzling. We had a great dinner in the hotel restaurant, then just a five-minute walk to St. Charles Cathedral for Mozart's Requiem. Wish we could've stayed longer. Staff very helpful in making arrangements to airport the next morning.

We enjoyed a delightful one-night stay at this beautiful and elegant hotel, conveniently located close to the Belvedere. Everything in the room was comfortable and the amenities were top-notch. We would choose this place again.

Close to the centre of Vienna, very nice and clean, friendly and helpful staff

The hotel was in a good location, close to the subway system and the direct airport subway. The hotel does not have any fitness or sauna facilities. Breakfast was above average and the staff were pleasant. There is concierge and everyone speaks and understands English very well. Would stay again.

Warm, knowledgable and friendly staff plus an ideal location and maybe the most comfortable beds in Europe = an excellent choice for a hotel in Vienna. HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

Fantastic, we were satisfied very very very much much

really great staff at this hotel. very friendly and real problem solvers. definitely on my return to list

The staff in the hotel were the best I've ever seen. They all very very courteous and friendly and provided excellent recommendations and assistance. The hotel room was excellent and amenities were great (good bath products, complimentary tea, coffee, and water. The included breakfast was great as well. Location is also excellent, very close to all the main points and streets.

Pros: Very nice location (5-7 min walk to Opera), helpful staff, huge bed, spacious room. Cons: Bathroom facilities are a bit outdated.

We arrived at the main Wien train station from Budapest and took a cab to the hotel (which you really don't have to do). Upon arrival, the staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. They provided with maps of Vienna and brochures of other tours and activities. The lobby was absolutely beautiful, with long beading off a couple chandeliers and an array of seating. Our room was on the 4th floor; we had quite a spacious (unexpected) room for Europe with a great view (see picture). Traffic was not bad, however on the Morning we were there, we had left the window open and traffic woke us up quite early but this wasn't an issue the remainder of our trip so we weren't that concerned about it. The location of the hotel was great! We were very centrally located (and our friends in Budapest even agreed when they were reviewing our plans for Vienna); we were about a 10 minute walk from the Belvedere, about 15 minutes to get to St. Stephan's (and I believe it was mainly due to the larger crowds of people and crossing the streets); we were about a 20 minute walk to the two coffee houses we visited (Cafe Central and Cafe Griensteidl). We walked every where in Vienna and only took transportation to get to Schonbrunn (and the subway entrance was about 5 minute walk to the left of the hotel). It was also about a 20 minute walk from the Naschmarkt, so I feel it was very centrally located. You could take the subway, but I love walking around European cities. I gave a rating of 4 for the amenities because the review I read upon booking stated that there was a fitness center, which there wasn't (there is however, a great park behind the hotel and close to the Belvedere that we were able to go for a run through). Another thing I read, was that there was a free shuttle to the airport, which when we asked upon leaving, it cost money (if I remember correctly, it was about $30). My husband chose to take the subway to save money and that was a bit confusing because the platform was located at a different stop (in another park, which we weren't used to). Overall, I would most certainly stay here again, and I recommend this hotel to all friends and other travelers. Honestly, crowds in Vienna can be overwhelming so the short distance this hotel is from outside of the city center is great to get a bit more peace, quite, and relaxation. This was our first trip to Vienna and this hotel helped make it a great one.

In a great area close to everything and the staff was wonderful!

I have stayed at this hotel twice and been very happy with the quality of the hotel in relation to the cost. Nice comfortable rooms, good beds/pillows, located near all things musical, short walk from various sights, and restaurant/bar on the premises. A few criticisms: There is no fitness center in the hotel. The bar seems to be an area where the restaurant waiters stop by when they have time. They sometimes don't even notice if there are customers waiting there. Depending on which website the reservation is booked from, the buffet breakfast is either free or is 18 Euros. I booked it from that site that begins with "ORB" and my breakfast was NOT INCLUDED, however my colleagues who used "book" received complimentary breakfast, for the roughly the same price and booked at roughly the same time. This one thing annoyed me the most.

The hotel is about very conveniently located -- about a 10 minute walk to Belvedere and Karlskirche, 15 minutes to the cathedral and the Hofburg Palace, and not too much further to other attractions. There are several tram lines that run closeby. Also, the buffet breakfast was great.

Just stayed here for 3 nights with my sister. It's a decent area of the city - about 15 min walk from the major attractions. This was a plus - we saved money by not getting a transit pass though we weren't completely in the "thick of it". Nicely appointed rooms, though I think the bathrooms and mattress quality in European 4 stars is a little bit below that of American hotels. Staff was great. One warning, there isn't a lot by way of restaurants in the immediate area.
