Very nice, clean hotel. Staff was always friendly, helpful and informative. Quiet neighbourhood within walking distance of museums and others attractions

One thing travelers from the US must consider is that the rooms you are offered are much smaller than what is pictured on the internet. In our case, the matter was rectified and we were offered a higher grade room, but after vehement objection from our side. Every person in our group (this was one of the choice hotels of the conference we attended) had the same problem. In their case, they all had to pay to be upgraded.

great experience , nice hotel with a good Location , in the center but quite great place

The hotel is located so close to all the major attractions in Vienna. Very convenient to almost everything a first-time visitor wants to see. Rooms are a bit small but normal for most European cities, but very nice and clean. Front desk staff was excellent. . I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable place.

Accesible to public transportation, nice neighborhood, good restaurants nearby

The room was clean, staff was great, breakfast buffet was really nice. The furniture was a bit outdated in the room. Rm 606 had no view, but I asked for a quiet, dark room so my 4 year old would sleep well. A bit warm with a fan operated by remote for on an off, although it didn't provide much air circulation. I would not stay here in the summertime. This hotel was nice, but not 4 star.

A friend and I spent a week at Austria Trend Hotel Rathauspark Wien and loved it. It was our first trip to Austria and the staff was very helpful and courteous. They did everything they could to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Hotel is very nice although a bit on the edge of things, its walkable, which is important in Europe cities. Its a bit far from the train station, but walkable

The hotel is in an excellent location - right behind the main university building, near the Schottentor U-Bahn, and various bus and streetcar connections. It is only a short walk to Stefansdom in the inner city (10 minutes), yet in a quiet side street. The staff are courteous and friendly. The room was relatively spacious (uncommon for a rebuilt Palais), light, and very clean. The bathroom is small, but functional. It was perfect for a weeks stay in Vienna

Great location but not a 4 star hotel. The carpeting should have been changed long ago. Finding n getting to the parking garage was difficult at best The breakfast was good but the TV offered nothing in English. No A/C in room and it was hot.

There were bugs in our room! This hotel is disgusting. We ended up reserving a different hotel for the night and they didn't refund our money.

The location was perfect for our Christmas market visits. We would have liked it more if there were a restaurant in the hotel.

The hotel was a perfect place for me to stay while I was attending a conference at the City Hall just two blocks away. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were great, and the room was very comfortable as a single traveler. The only negative was that when I attempted to order room service at 8 in the evening one night, it was unavailable. But that is admittedly a small gripe. Overall, I would come back to this hotel time and time again.

The good: In a quiet neighborhood off the main street just a few short blocks from a major metro stop (being close to a metro stop is invaluable in any city, imho). The staff was very friendly, and most spoke English well enough. The breakfast room was nice, and the food was good. Free wifi and personal safe. The room was clean, and the cleaning staff was attentive and thorough. The bad: The furniture and decor is extremely outdated. Not sure what decade, but probably the 60's. The wood design just feels old (and not in that "good quaint" old way... just old). I even had an old CRT TV that took at least 2 min to warm up and turn on... seriously. On top of that, the room was the tiniest I've ever been in. To be fair, I had the "Junior" suite (because I was traveling solo and don't need much space), but this was a bit ridiculous. It's a single bed and two steps out of it in either direction, I hit a wall. The bathroom was crowded as well, especially the shower, which was more like a coffin. I'm 6'1" and thin, and I kept hitting the walls with my elbows. I had to get creative with the shower head just make it work. Each shower was an adventure to say the least. I don't know how a larger person could ever make it work. Maybe the regular rooms have regular showers. I don't know, but my coffin was ridiculous. It's not a bad hotel, by any means. But be sure you DON'T get a "Junior" suite. I won't stay there again, but the fact that it's quiet, clean, and a few blocks from a metro stop may be acceptable for some people.

Excellent quality and service. Walking distance to many sights and close to Rathaus U2 underground. Highly recommended!
