We recently stayed at this hotel and loved the river view from our room. The room was clean, but had a musty smell. Everything felt sticky in the room. Humidity could have played a factor. My kids were happy with the breakfast bar.
I will not stay here again and I suggest that you stay away as well. Especially if you have a family. Why? 1. indoor Pool heater was broken all weekend and the water was FREEZING. Staff did nothing to help resolve issue. (Although Jessica tried, but it was obvious her hands were tied). The night clerk actually told us "yeah that rain really causes the pool to cool down" 😮what planet is he from? or does it magically rain inside their INDOOR pool!?!? We actually had a staff member tell us when we first asked about the pool, "there is always an issue with the pool" Upon check out on Monday morning, The manager of the hotel (according to her) said that "she had not been informed about the pool". And that they were "working on it". Although I still didn't see anyone working on it. That was honestly the main reason we stayed at this establishment. 2. Upon our arrival on Saturday afternoon we realized we forgot milk for our baby. And he needed a bottle then. I kindly inquired if the staff had access to a small amount of milk from the breakfast-kitchen area. I was told by staff, "there is a gas station and a convenience store down the road" you can get some there. Why couldn't she go and get some out of the breakfast area kitchen with a FRIDGE FULL of milk???? 3. Room is very worn and not clean, satins everywhere. Pictures included. 4. Luggage carts wheels were flat. 5. The rate for our room was discounted, but not at a satisfactory rate. Still more than what the Hampton Inn would have cost. 6. The view from room was nice.
Referred here by a friend and was so happy with what we encountered. The staff is absolutely amazing...called us by name the entire stay, smiling, gracious and happy! Changed our room to a river view which was spectacular.....we sat at the picture window and enjoyed watching the barges go up and down the Mississippi River during the day and the sparkle of Natchez, Mississippi high upon the bluffs directly across the river from the Hotel. The room we had was clean and comfortable although, somewhat dated but I understand rooms are being updated. The lobby and breakfast area are very nice and the Breakfast is very good. Price was fair. Will be going back......The beautiful Historic town of Natchez is at ur finger tips.
Everything about this hotel was top notch, starting with the young lady who checked us in. On an 11 day road trip she was the most welcoming, enthusiastic desk manager we encountered. Very sweet and quick to give recommendations for area restaurants. She gave us a great room overlooking the river. Room was nice, indoor pool was good, and very nice breakfast. Will return.
Great place to stay! We have been staying at the Comfort suites for 10 years. The hotel has never disappointed!! Clean rooms, great view of the river, and the best breakfast! Staff is very helpfull and friendly. It is close to all Natchez attractions but away from the traffic of down town.
This was the best Comfort Inn we have ever experienced. It was made especially so by staff member Jessica Emfinger. She attended to our every question personally, including recommendations about enjoying the area, restaurants, etc. and help with the TV in the room. We would recommend this hotel very highly.
We were glad to find this place, its right on the Mississippi Rive across the bridge from Natchez, Miss. It is very modern, has a restaurant, is right on the river and has amazing views. The room was very large, very modern and pretty and had a large picture window facing the river. I would recommend this hotel.
Parking is close and plentiful, room was large and clean and well furnished, staff is competent and attentive, I had a river view that was just great, breakfast well presented and area clean, outdoor patio to watch traffic on river, location for touring the area is great, overall a very nice stay and very nice for the price
Drive your Chevy to the levee at stay in a river view room (costs extra)! One of my favorite Comfort Suites... also one of the best complimentary breakfasts in a Choice Hotel setting I've experienced. Pretty decent indoor pool and hot tub. Nice promenade on the levee for walking. It's across the river from the Magnolia Grill and next door to Johnnie Mae's.
Great room on third floor. Large room right on the river. $110.00 for room on the river side. Comfortable bed, clean room, and AC worked great. Come early and stay late. Nice open lobby with seeding by large windows facing river. We will be back.
