Harbour Towers Hotel & Suites

3.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

This hotel appears renovated when you come into the lobby but the rooms are far from it. While they are clean, the couches are old and worn, carpets are dated, and the windows have seen better days not blocking any street noise or wind- even on the 11th floor

Loved the location since we could walk to all attractions, buses, restaurants, etc. Best customer service from front desk employees. They booked all of our trips to local attractions and made excellent recommendations too! Room was very nice too!

For a Sheraton, this was surprising. Noisy, dirty, and not worth it

The hotel was very nice and customer service was great a heck out they held our things until we caught our Ferry. Victor BC is a nice place to visit.

Hotel is walking distance to all downtown and inner harbor Victoria attractions and dinings. Allows pet and have on-site restaurant. Only negative is it's an aging hotel so furnishing a bit dated. Couple of tips: upgrade/book suites which provides free breakfast so it actually better value and on weekends there's free street parking. Would recommend the hotel.

Hotel was everything we thought it should be. We were close to downtown and the harbor and were able to walk to most everything we wanted to see.

The breakfast bar was pretty impressive and the walk to downtown easy enough. It's in a surprisingly quiet residential area, and right next to the Port Angeles ferry terminal.

Comfortable but noisy early morning from room doors automatically banging shut - installation of slower automatic door closures would be a great asset! Found the '$1 charge to your room' tag on the four bottles of water in the room offensive... Suggest either to provide a complimentary bottle of water to each guest or discontinue leaving bottled water in the rooms!!

staff is outstanding. service was 5 star. very helpful and cooperative people overall. upgraded room had a fabulous view of harbor and downtown. no air conditioning is a BIG downside.

Beautiful, clean hotel close to the ferry dock and easy to find. Staff were accommodating and very pleasant. The breakfast buffet was amazing! Only complaint was the bed wasn't very comfortable and the shower pressure was so intense that it was painful! But they said they would have maintenance fix it. Highly recommend!

Front Desk personnel very friendly and knowledgeable. Very good location, close to two non-hotel restaurants. Walked two blocks to nearest city bus stop, which was also ideal for touring the city. Room very clean and well appointed. Unfortunately, while on vacation in April, pool was being re-furfaced, so couldn't enjoy a swim or two, or five... Found hotel resturant over priced. Had a salad with steak, and steak had too much gristle and fat. Loved the salad, and dressing very good. Desserts were good, but may want to consider some sugar-free "treats."

From arrival to check out a very relaxing enjoyable stay.. Hotel is perfect location. I have stayed here often, and I know that customer service and room cleanliness is a top priority.

Hotel is in excellent location for all activities in the Victoria area. It is within walking distance of anywhere you want to go there. Weather and area were both excellent.

Enjoyed the stay. Room was clean, food was good. Would recommend Harbor Towers to others.

I stay at the Harbour Towers every time I come to Victoria! It's situated just one street back from the water's edge, but if you get a harbour view room, you can see the entire harbour - including the sea planes landing and taking off. An easy 40-minute round trip walk will enable you to see the entire harbour area and the downtown tourist attractions. The rooms are very spacious, the hotel is quiet, and the staff are friendly. I have never had any complaints!

The place was wonderful, but they never found our reservation, even with my confirmation number. I do not know who's fault that would be, but because of that, they upgraded at no extra charge a 10th floor view overlooking the Harbour and the Empress Hotel. Not bad!!

We've been going to this hotel for about twenty years now (the age of our daughter). We visit Victoria at least annually. Although we'll try other places when there are specials, we always come back here because it's conveniently located to the ferry, has clean comfortable rooms, and a nice fitness room/pool/jacuzzi.

It was quite pleasant. Located within walking distance of most everything. Hotel staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great time there.

convenient location downtown within walking distance to ferry to washington.

Great trip, disappointing hotel. Harbor tower was having a series of issues during our visit. The hot tub and pool were closed (and will be for another month, so check first), the water pressure in the shower was weak and the temperature erratic. When we checked in, there were electric issues, so no elevators when we arrived, etc. Our second room wasn't ready, etc. But location is great, rooms are clean, nice restaurant on first floor. Also, front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Perhaps it was just some bad luck. In Victoria, definitely recommend taking a water plane tour. Incredible. Also, we took a day long bike tour with CycleTrek tours, and it was great. Definitely check out the Canoe Club, sit on patio and try their beer sampler.
