Stay here for work every year and need to replace AC units and update the bathrooms a bit more. The free breaky and wifi is pretty good. Beds at least comfortable and mgt did find me new rooms twice while I was there.

We were late arrivals but all handled professionally,Very convenient for Vic Gen & downtown.Clean, comfortable, quiet rooms.A generous discount for patients at Victoria General Hospital with a noon check out.The best way to avoid the Malahat at 5am !

We loved that they were dog friendly and it was ok that he was over 100 lbs. They had a dog bed and dishes in the room waiting for us. The room was clean and comfy. The pub had good foods and friendly servers. Would recommend this hotel if your traveling with your pet.

I have never had one of my events screwed up so badly and I do many across BC! I had a meeting at the end of April and this venue had the wrong dinner time, the meeting room was not set with the proper numbers and guest with serious allergies were not looked after. Most places will look after dietary concerns if you give the hotel enough notice. However we had sent in a dietary list well in advance. To get an answer from the serving staff or kitchen that they did not receive the list is a big fail. How did you not receive it when we sent it to your email weeks in advance? With dietary concerns such a common thing now and for it not to be looked after is very concerning. I wouldn’t be surprised if many of my colleagues went home sick because the staff were unsure what ingredients were in the food and had to wait a while to get an answer. When I asked to speak to a manager because this was getting ridiculous, I got a stupid response of we don’t have one. Many of my guests got nothing to eat or had to wait forever to get anything edible or not cross contaminated. This whole situation is a joke and someone screwed up badly. I was strongly recommended to use this venue from colleagues. They mentioned the staff go above and beyond and will look after all needs. I sadly did not receive anything close to that level of service that my fellow colleagues received in the past. The location had many vagrants walking around the property. There were some of these people in the washroom as well. On top of all this, being a vegan and having vegans attend, we had nothing to eat as well. Working in the veterinary industry, I will be strongly advising members to look else where. Fellow animal lovers, please pass this along.

We stayed 3 nights and the hotel was good for us. It is a bus ride from town but the bus service is a good one. The hotel is easy to find as it is on one of the main roads into Victoria, and to us that was important! The beds are good and we slept well. The breakfasts are good enough if a little unimaginative, but the service is certainly good, and the reception staff very pleasant. We didn’t particularly like the one lunch we had there, but apart from that enjoyed our stay. Decor wise the room was a bit dark and looking a bit jaded, but as a place to sleep and eat breakfast it certainly is fine. If you add the good public transport links it certainly deserves our 4 stars.

Great place to stay very comfortable and very clean and the staff are unbelievable! Shawna in the breakfast area is amazing and I haven't seen that kind of service or thoughtfulness in 20 years! Thank you Shawna you made my rainy day fill with sun!

I do not post reviews but I am warning potential people to be cautious. I held an educational seminar with my organization at the Comfort Inn in April. We had over 100 of our members attend. Needless to say, the young lady Mary in the meeting office had absolutely no idea what she was doing. No sense of urgency and no professionalism. The manager did come over and handled the situation to the best of his ability. We hold these seminars a couple times throughout the year at this location. When I called to speak to the manager of the department to thank him, he apparently doesn't work there anymore. Due to this girls incompetence, we will not be coming back. Not all bad, the food was good and the staff at the hotel were pleasant.

Went to Victoria for a soccer tournament and this hotel was walking distance to the fields. Also just a few minutes drive to othe attractions around Victoria. Hotel room was great and the bar and restaurant with their specials were great.

Dad, Mom,three children, and a minivan found this place clean, spacious, and providing a great breakfast for the price point. The only draw back was the absence of a pool for the kiddies. Would stay here again.

A little better than average for a Choice Hotel. I travel a lot for work and always stay with this chain. Choice Hotels are total hit or miss. This is an easy to find, larger hotel with an attached restaurant. I only had the free breakfast there one day. It was the standard free hotel breakfast with make your own waffles, breakfast breads, juice, eggs, etc. Hotel was clean and front office was very friendly. The room was nice. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the non-carpeted floors. Definitely colder in the winter but the heater worked fine. Suggest bringing slippers. The area seemed nice and I will stay here again next time I’m in town.
