I enjoyed staying there 6 nights.Good cooperative staff, good and rich breakfast, clean and nice atmosphere. A nice family restuarant close to the hotel, Trattoria pizzeria al semato snc , very nice place .Food was excelent, nice service and not expensive prices
On arrival everything went smooth and friendly. We arrived at our room and turned on the air conditioning as the room was 25 degrees centigrade. The AC did not work so we opened the window. The bar/cantena Tijuana outside our room produced shouting and screeming till 3.30am We finally went to sleep around 4am. At 7:15am we were woken up by Hotel staff throwing the bottles into the bottle container below our window. At 7:40 the truck came and tipped the bottles into the truck. What a noisy joint.... We went to breakfast, or shall I say waiting room of a dirty train station ? Tables were dirty and staff to busy doing whatever... Customers had to push dirty dishes to the site to eat. The coffe from the machines is pure nasty. Come on Italy your coffees are excellent, why do you serve such junk ??? The "juices" are more water then juice, detectable by the color and the taste ! Food kept running out, no plates, no cups, no knife and fork, a plain disaster ! 3 visible staff could not handle a buffet breakfast ! Amazing and they call it 4 star....If I did not had prepayed this establishment I would have stayed my second night elsewhere ! P.S. The air conditioning did never work and the temperature in the room, with an open window as described did not go under 24,1 degrees. I have a picture attached for validation !
Very nice hotel, situated just outside Verona. Hotel was cleaned to a high standard on a daily basis and the staff were amazingly friendly. English was spoken by the majority of staff. Staff would always go out of there way to help and were available 24 hours. Breakfast included a large selection of items and was always stocked well. Vegetarian options were always available. Drinks included a good variety. Very reasonably priced. Will definatly be booking this hotel for my next stay
This hotel is excellent for those who want to explore the northern part of Italy and Garda Lake. The hotel staff are excellent and smiling, clean rooms. Highly recommended. Anat and roni Margalit and amnon Israel.
very friendly staff but you should eat extern. The sommelier and bar is very good. He recommended regional very tasty wine! The people were all very friendly, tidy rooms and close to Verona! You should eat at the nearby restaurant. The pizza/ food is great!
The hotel is situated 10-12 km away from Verona, but for me was convenient since i travelled by car, so i need a parking place (free if possible). I didnt expect much while booking online since i thought it is a small hotel in the middle of nowhere but actually the hotel is pretty big and full of people - a lot of business people and also tourists who are travelling by bus around northern Italy. To my surprise the hotel is very clean and quite quiet, despite the fact that was pretty full when i was there. The people from the reception were young and very nice (especially for Italy...) and they knew perfect english. The only big problem which i have to mention is the breakfast. In my whole life as a traveller (and i travel quite a lot) i never seen such a mess in the breakfast. Althought the restaurant room is big half of the tables were full of already used dishes. The food is bad (except pastries, which are good), the coffee served within the breakfast is absolutely terrible (i would not call it coffee...), so you better buy one at the bar - it is one euro and something, provided that you come to breakfast with money in your pockets. One of the waiter was awfully rude, if you ask him to bring something it was like disturbing him from a very important job. I dont know which is the cause for this mess, i guess they have too many tourists and too few people to manage the whole thing, but it is a disaster. As a tourist i should recommend not to take breakfast there. It is too bad because otherwise the hotel is very ok. I spent there three nights (initially i booked just one but since i found different interesting things to see around i extended to three). P.s. Somebody said it is in the gas station. Actually is near a gas station but believe me - i had the windows towards the station, i am sleeping with windows open and hear nothing, althought i am very sensible of sounds. So it is ok.
The place was great for the money we paid, although it is a little out of the way from beaten paths. It offered free parking, the water at the minibar was free of charge and they gave us a small present when we left, The room was not big, but cosy and very clean and the staff was friendly. They recommended an excellent restaurant very close by. We already reserved 3 nights to return to this place.
Located in an agricultural area approximately 20 minutes’ drive from Verona central, there are excellent bars and restaurants and some good grocery shops within walking distance of the hotel. Hot and continental breakfast included. Good air-conditioning. Quiet rooms. Ample free parking. Bike hire available. Friendly, helpful staff. Coffee shop/snack bar directly behind the hotel. Subject to availability, a late checkout can be arranged for a small additional fee. Hotel Montemezzi represents excellent value for money. This is our second visit and we would certainly return again.
The room was super, the bed was good, breakfast was a bit of confusion but it was probably caused by a large number of customers who did not know how to behave, we did not like drinking drinks in our own bottles, parking was good, internet worked well, bathroom She was also nice, we would love to come again.
Clean, easy to reach, comfortable, The staff friendly, breakfast OK. This is a good place to stop during your trip on south of Italy. Good point to explore Verona or Garda. Parking available free of charge
