Second worst Motel ever in. Hairs in the shower and towels. Literal next to highway 101. Extremely noise. You will need to pay me to stay there.

Although backed up to the 101, you don't really hear the noise from the highway. You mostly hear all the activity from California Street but that's why you would choose this location. It is the best rate you can get to be a block away. Walls are a little thin as I could hear the TV above my room. My room was clean and most furnishings are relatively new. Overall, very cost-efficient stay for a Beach area.

Great area. No frills. Dog stayed for FREE!

The staff, especially the housekeeping staff was rude, broken things missing paint, overall neglected.

I attended an event at the nearby Fairgrounds. I parked my car and didn’t have to move it for three days because I could walk to the beach, mission, restaurants, downtown, the mission, etc. all in less than 1/2 mile from the Motel. That being said, the area around the hotel has a lot of unhoused people near the train tracks and highway, but it didn’t detract or deter too much from my visit or sense of safety.

Not bad for what it is a no frills inexpensive place to stay close to downtown and the beach. Easy walking distance to each. A few vagrants in the area may make some uncomfortable but saw no signs of vandalism.

Great location

Right off the freeway, great spot to go downtown and do all the things you wanna do in Ventura. 10 minutes from them Harbor, restaurants etc. Walking distance from downtown restaurants. I did have one filthy vagrant ask me for a cigarette in the parking lot and so I went off on her. Other than that, it was clean, the guy was friendly, and remember, I’m reading this as a motel at the price point it’s at. It’s not a five-star hotel so don’t expect that. It’s a very clean, convenient, quick stay especially if you want to hang out for a day or two. You’re not gonna get stabbed or shot, and no junkies hanging out in the parking lot or anything

Clean and friendly staff

We had 2 couples sharing a very expensively priced Motel 6. It was a very busy weekend in Ventura and the Motel was adamit only 1 car can park there per the 1 room. The other couple had a handicap placard, so not really taking up other spots. Basically we had to drive a few blocks away to find a spot. Meanwhile the Motel 6 lot never filled up. Not cool Motel 6! You are a Motel 6, no one wants to stay there by choice!

It could if been cleaner but nice overall.

The room smelled terrible. The chemical smell of cleaning detergents was so strong, it literally made us feel sick.
