The property looks like a typical older motel from the outside, but they clearly did a lot for the interiors: key card entry, tile bathrooms, laminate floors, ceiling fan, crown moulding, nice bed and bedding. It had typical issues of an older building like you can hear any and all footsteps outside, so hopefully you have respectful neighbors. Ask for second floor away from the street (what they offered us). They can't do much about the outside and the plain neighborhood, but it was a nice, clean room.
Friendly front desk manager. Clean room with micro, fridge, and coffee maker. Exterior needs a fresh coat of paint.

We did not get to use keeo our reservation on 5/25/21. I Got stuck working late. I called to make late arrival arrangements around11:30, due to weather conditions and road construction our driving pace/speed was slowed down. Unfortunately we were 10 minutes late for the new arrival time. Noone was at the customer service window. We range bell for service, we called the hotel, noone cared to assist us. I was disappointed noone was there to check us in, and my credit card got charged regardless of not staying. So yes disappointing.

So I would first say that you may judge this place how it looks from the outside, but inside its completely redone. Clean, comfortable and the management were so friendly. And the place is built so you cant hear what is going on outside which is a plus. Thanks!

Great room, updated, clean. Only down to it was the limited parking, but there is street parking near.

Smallest ever, no ice, no breakfast, soap didn't suds, dark and dreary . Extremely over priced. Overall half a star
This was perfect for what we needed. A room that we would arrive in late at night after a late dinner in Los Olivos and close to Ventura harbor for a 7AM ferry check-in. We didn't want to spend a lot for a room we wouldn't be in for anything more than a good night sleep. Comfortable and clean budget choice. No complaints but I wouldn't choose it for a longer stay.
Very nice room! The staff was welcoming and the room was updated. The bathroom was really tasteful done. Great room and a great price.

Although it appears to be a typical 2 story motel the room I had was totally redone. The decor was modern and the bed was a pillow top, Its obvious someone put a lot of time and money in the rooms and they are continuing to work on the place. My room had a 60 inch flat screen tv, full size oven and fridge. All appliances were brand new. The bathroom was completely redone with new tiles, etc. This place is a bargain if you don't mind a room where the door goes directly outside instead of a interior hallway.
