Clean room good parking centrally located to several areas we planned to visit

Overall, I really have no major complaints. The room was clean comfortable for what was needed. This is not a business class hotel, which was fine for my purpose of attending an event in the area. There was a microwave and refrigerator in the room, an unexpected bonus. The only reason I did not rate the highest in any category is because some things look a bit dated or less than corporate, such as the paint. Do not misunderstand, that does NOT equate to unclean. Just basic. One more major plus was the A/C unit. Worked well and did not smell musty.

Room was hardly stocked with towels, no extra TP, No kleenex, had to make trips to cleaning lady to get basic items. TV worked intermittently, Bathroom sink dirty and water flow was a trickle. No promised coffee maker. Office was closed at 8am when trying to check-out. WIFi was limited to 2 devices.

Nice hotel for the money. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, and it was an overall very pleasant stay. There was one very small negative, which was that my room had skylights with no shade options directly over the bed, and after a long night celebrating a friends wedding, was slightly off putting at the crack of dawn the next morning. But the cost was so good that it honestly wouldn't deter me from staying there again.

Spacious room with basic amenities. Reasonably priced and check in process was quick and friendly.

We knew going in, it wasn't going to be five stars, but for three stars, one can get usually expect clean and comfortable. When we checked in around noon, the lobby was locked up and I had to ring a bell to get in. The clerk took care of my reservation but was not very friendly. When we got to our room we were pleased to find it quite large with two queen beds, fridge and a microwave. The furniture was quite outdated as well as the carpet and the couch. This was one of those places where you didn't want to walk around barefoot. Next time we head to the beach, we will budget better and spend more money in order to get more bang for our buck. We expected more for the $120-130 a night. We just know this is not a place we will return to.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It's a small, quaint hotel. The rooms are small, but clean and functional. There was a small fridge and microwave in the room. Hair dryer. No pool or jacuzzi, but wi fi was free for one device. The bed was pretty firm, but otherwise, we found the room comfortable. The hotel is in a nice area. Great Vietnamese restaurant right across the street. Check-in was super fast and easy. Fast, friendly service. It seems to be run by a nice family.

Great value for the money. Very short walk to restaurants and convenient stores

We needed a room for one night while passing through, so this place was a great choice.

I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. We booked it for 3 nights, only made it 1 night. The bed was extremely hard. Room was very weird, bare bones, there was an echo when we talked. Not some place you'd want to hang out. There was no free breakfast, not even a coffee pot in the room or lobby for guests. Although the location is 4 blocks from the beach Port Hueneme and Oxnard are fairly small and not a problem to be further away. Best thing going for it is the Hoagie restaurant next door. We booked a room at the Marriott and wow, what a difference.

It is a nice Place, you can get good breakfest and the stuff is also nice.

I was a bit wary after reading a lot of reviews online about this place, but after spending a night, I think some people set their expectations way too high. I stayed in room 205 on the second floor on a Saturday night. Room was spacious and fairly clean. Sink and toiler were clean. Nothing on the sheets and the flat screen TV and directtv were great. The walls are a bit thin, but with the AC on, you can't hear a thing! Anyhow, it's not a spectacular deal, but it is good value and I was able to get the rest and sleep I needed to continue on my journey. Decent Hoagie place next door and there is a vietnamese Pho place across the street.

I stayed for one night for business and the room was better than I expected. The laminate flooring that looked like wood was a nice touch to give a little extra pizzaz for a lower budget room.

Based on a 3+ score of reviews, I booked a room here. I have no idea how it scored that high. The room was dirty. There was hair in the tub and hair in the sink. I had a friend visit me and she couldn't stay in the room for more than a few minutes as her eyes started watering and turning red. The area was kind of scary. After being buzzed into the office, the manager was behind security glass. The wifi didn't work all that well. At least the TV had a lot of channels.

The stay was good the bed wad hard if you like a hard bed it was fine no coffe pot

The room was clean, with a mini frigerator and a microwave. Hard wood floors, sky lights, and a nice flat screen if you actually end up staying in the room long enough to enjoy it. For 40 bucks a night, I would definitely go back again.

room is small, but has a bed a dresser and a table with chair. right down the street from beach. less than a mile about a 15 min walk. the steak grill on the property was awesome ,popular place. If your looking for a place to go just to relax it was perfect. nothing special , had a 42" plat p[anel tv. have to ask for code to use wifi.

Across from naval base. Tiny room, no ice bucket or Kleenex, must pay for ice, and thinnest pillows ever seen. But has fridge, micro, large LCD wall mount screen, and good wi-fi. Scary 1st impression - ring bell to get into office and find clerk behind glass partition, but I saw no problems with neighborhood. Good Steak & Hoagie place on grounds.

Thank you for your valuable insight and input. Usually one wi-fi connection is free and extra connections are at a nominal fee of $5.00/EA, this is to discourage mis-use of the facility. Thanks.
