The property is actually on Murano, which can be difficult to get to if you plan to stay out late. The property was on a quiet street, but a bit difficult to find. We had an issue with the lock on our door and the manager was reluctant to offer any help. Otherwise, our stay was just fine.
The outside of hotel looks pretty but inside the room is quite outdated and not so clean. I found a dead scorpion at the corner of the room, plus a live scorpion in bathroom in the morning..
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel and the room was beautifully decorated. Room was clean. The bed was not the most comfortable but it wasn’t too bad. Breakfast was nice. The breakfast area was an open solarium, beautiful. Will return.
Locanda hotel at Murano is just ok. The hotel is in the island of murano about 30 to 55 minutes in boat taxi from venice san marcos plaza so if you have no hurry to get to were the action is then it's ok for us that was fine! The inconvinient is a little walk with your luggage from the boat stop to the hotel about 3 blocks or more. The room is really clean and staff friendly and helpfull. The breakfast is really light bread fruit and cereal only!!! What was really wrong with our room was that hot and cold water keep coming and going either to hot or to cold at times!!!! And if you have room 11 and nobody is in the room below you ok! That was in our case for the first nite! But in the second they had guests in the room below!!! A real nitemare!!! You can hear every step and move in the wooden floors! Even the people talking! And they didn't stop until 2 am!!!! Terrible! So just ask about your room before booking in!

I have stayed in other hotels and this was a very nice hotel. The location in Murano was good and easy to find. The room was small as most hotel rooms in Europe are; however, it was clean and very nice. The statf were very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay there again.
Away from the crush of downtown Venice. Fairly easy access on the DM Ferry. A plesant place to stay and a good value. Would do it again.
Hotel was in a good location and the rooms were good. Didn't like the number of stairs that needed to be taken to get to the room and the buffet breakfast was not the best with everything being prepackaged and not much of a selection
There are too many mosquitos. Could not sleep well. I had 5 mosquitos bites on my face!
El hotel está muy descuidado; se ve sucio; los tendidos de las camas están sucios y rotos; cuando llegamos nos dieron una habitación que olía horrible y el que nos atendió solo se limitó a llamar a alguien de las que hace la limpieza para que le echara un ambientador, aprovechándose de que no entoñendiamos mucho el idioma y al decirle no quiso cambiar la habitación; por la noche que había otra persona si nos la cambio pero en esta hacía demasiado ruido alguna máquina que había cerca; adicionalmente el Wifi no servía para nada.
