Nice hotel, small rooms but very clean. The location was good - the only problem we had was that the weekend we were there was hot and muggy so difficult to sleep - as when I booked the this hotel clearly stated air conditioning - tried to switch on to no avail and as no one in hotel till morning had to sleep with window open hence the location noisy due to the public transport and water bus. When I asked about the air conditioning was advised that law did allow hotel to turn on till Ma this we accepted. Checked internet can find no law to that effect and all shops and restaurants that had ac were all working. that was only disappointment as there was no detail on website or Hotels.com
This hotel has a great location in the Lido, very conveniently close to the vaporetto station, marvellous service, friendly staff, nice breakfast and clean rooms. We would definitely recommend it and we would love to come back soon!
My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights, we visited Venice to celebrate our first anniversary and were given one of the hotel’s rooms overlooking the lagoon. The room was clean, spacious and warm, beds were comfortable and the bathroom small but perfectly formed! The hotel is situated really well for the water bus stops, there are local shops and bakeries nearby. It’s a shame we didn’t have time to explore the Lido but what we saw of it was beautiful. The staff are very friendly and the continental breakfast was just what we needed to start the day. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel and will be staying here on our next visit! ☺️
This hotel is a perfect base for a visit to Venice, but not if you want to lounge around your hotel all day. We visited 13-17th September, hotel was clean and staff helpful, rooms are on the small side (typical for venice though) but breakfast was good. Fruit, cereal, meat & cheese and lovely croissants. most important it was a hop-skip-and jump from the vaporetto terminal. prices for a 3 day travel card are expensive (67 euro) but that's the price you pay for voting to leave Europe.... very busy on the main island but the queues for the sights move quickly. Happy to recommend this hotel, it wasn't perfect but staff were helpful.
We cannot fault our 2 night stay here. Our room was spotless including the shower etc. The beds were extremely comfy and with the double glazing it was extremely quiet. The location is great with the Lido vaparetto stop right opposite. It took us 12 minutes to get into St. Marks Square. Breakfast was great and included cereals, cold meats, cheese, patisseries, fresh fruit and juices.....a lot more than we expected. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and a bakery next door. There are also buses for the Lido area. All in all a great stay!
Fantastic location for vaperetto and great view looking across the lagoon at San Marco. Bedroom quite compact and the bathroom equally so! Breakfast basic, standard continental breakfast. Hotel nice and clean. Very noisy with Windows open due to buses and vaporetta, small price to pay for the view! On a more personal note, if you have lovely long thick hair bring your own hairdryer, my hair is short and fine and I couldn't dry it properly! Reception is open until 2200 hours unless they are not expecting anyone, closed 1800-1900 one evening so don't forget your code to get in. On the whole nice start to our adventure.
I liked the clean and very quiet room, even de airco was quiet and worked good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location to visit the Biënnale was perfect. Breakfast was okay too. Not much more to add.
Very well furnished modern room, friendly/helpful staff, comfy bed and clean bed linen. On arrival the floor hadn't been cleaned in the bathroom as there was a footprint and the bin hadn't been emptied. There was a problem with the shower hose not staying in one position but that was fixed by the next morning. Limited choice at breakfast, would have liked a bit of fresh fruit. Overall a better than expected stay.
Staff are really friendly and helpful at this lovely little hotel. The location opposite the waterbus stop on the Lido is excellent giving easy access and great views of Venice . Strongly recommended.
Overall a good stay. Room was comfortable (clean bathroom/good air conditioning). Breakfast was rather basic. No staff on duty after apx 9.30pm so you need a code to enter the hotel. Opposite the vaporetto (ferry) stop-easy to get around Venice.
