The hotel is good and the staff are nice and friendly. Helped with maps and information Only con is this place doesn't have a lift being a old hotel it is ok but to carry the bags 3 stairs is not that comforting.
Despite this hotel does not have wifi (they claim there are wifi intermittent behaviour, but the reality is that they do not have wifi), our room smell like ten spirits, There are severe humidity problem in our room and in the common hotel areas and this create an insufferable odour when you get inside. In addition the room was full of mosquitos because of this humidity. Our room was not clean enough. The breakfast was poor and all the guest have this breakfast in this such small room. If you read this comment, you are safe, please do not book with this hotel. I'm feeling a little bad with my opinion but we have two very bad night in this hotel.
The hotel was nice, clean and quiet. In walking distance from the train station from which you can get to the centre of Venice in 10 minutes or so. The area immediately around the train station is a little shady, but the street the hotel is in is very nice. A little thing though: Wifi was non-existent. Pretty annoying when you expect wifi since you paid for it. I read another review from some months ago saying it wasn't working back then either. How about fixing it?
The hotel is small and our room was small but comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was as expected for this type of hotel. Where the this hotel really comes into its own is its position close to transport links, making it so easy and quick to get into Venice. Good value.
Very happy with everything at Villa Adele, very clean and quiet location, breakfast very good and the lady in the dining room is so very helpful and lovely. One suggestion I would make is to take a travel kettle for tea coffee, there is a fridge in the room which is very handy, overhaul we had a great stay, restaurants around are very good and inexpensive. Thank you to all at Villa Adele for making our stay such a very happy one.
Hotel was clean - nice bed, balcony, and bathroom. During check-in the receptionist gave the transport information & we could purchase the card from them but as we paid by card, we had to pay 1.2% extra. The hotel is close to bus/tram stop. From Venice - take bus 6/6L, from Mestro tram T2. There is no lift for 2nd floor, the internet didnot work during our stay, breakfast menu was continental - apple seemed week old so I didnot eat. They have city taxes - they were hesitant to take card for paying the city taxes indicating they have to pay card commission on it. Sir, please increase your room rate by 1€ but please do not indicate this kind of behaviour. I happen to have a deal with booking site, so it was good for me. I would give 4* for that. I am not sure if check-in is possible after 10pm as the doors are security locks and no manual reception.
We stayed four nights at Villa Adele while seeing Venice. The location is great. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk to the bus station to get a bus into Venice, the trams stop at the same place and it's less than 15 minutes to the train station. There are some restaurants walking distance away and a supermarket as well. Our room was on the small side, but contained everything you need; bed, fridge, wardrobe, air con, shower etc. The staff were helpful and advised us on a ood restaurant nearby and with other local knowledge. I had breakfast one day and they had the usual continental breakfast selection as well as cereal. There was even a kettle so I cold make a proper cup of tea! One bad point of the stay was being woken at 07:00 one morning by the fire alarm, then when we went downstairs to evacuate it became clear it was just toast and no one else was concerned. The Wifi also did not work. I would have loved a kettle in the room as I was suffering from tea deprivation. Otherwise a good place to stay for the price.
We stayed a single night at Villa Adele, triple sharing. Our check-in time was 4:30 pm but due to a flight delay we reached only at half past eleven. By then we had communicated with receptionist lady at the stay (who speaks very fluent English) and she had made all arrangements for us to have an un-hassled check-in (reception is NOT open 24 x7). There is only one charging point in the room. Asians must carry a universal adapter because the plug point do not suit our gadgets. There was no wi-fi service when we checked in. Fresh and clean bed sheets, cozy beds and pillows, spic and span toilet, a small little balcony that overlooks the calm countryside road. Those who go after working hours of the hotel please consider and make arrangements for food/drinking water because both kitchen and reception are closed by then. Breakfast quite satiating and tasty. You can eat indoors or in a cute little green garden outside. The gentleman butler does not speak English but tries level best to make us feel comfortable. Hotel is very near to bus stop 6/6L (Do note it takes 15-20 minutes to reach Pl de Roma from where you have to take a vaporetto - water taxi/boat) to reach the canals where you can get a gondola ride). So plan an early exit in the morning to start your tour. Venice Mestre station is near to the hotel (by walk will take around 15 minutes though we took a taxi). Away from din and bustle of the city, I would definitely choose Villa Adele if I am to go to Venice again.
The place caters rather well to tourists wanting to visit Venice. It is conveniently located close to the train bus and tram stations and has a regular service for a short ride to Venice. The breakfast was good even for us vegetarians and they were kind enough to accomodate us with early check-in as well as an early breakfast the day we had to leave. Room is small but comfortable and the joint is well maintained.
The room is clean, quiet and the right size for 2 people with a cabin case and haversack. There's regular hot shower, nice water jet shower stall. Amenities like hand soap, body soap, shower cap, sanitary bags, toilet roll are provided. No toothbrushes or toothpaste but it's fine. The internet was scratchy and the staff are apologetic. They are very helpful and are well equipped to answer your queries. Housekeeping is done every day and the lady doing it is friendly and trustworthy😊 The bus stop to Venezia is just 3 min away and the bus comes often, there's also a night bus available from Venezia to the hotel, stopping on another side but still near the hotel. Lots of eateries around the hotel, all within 10mins of walking, pharmacy 5 min away. The best recommended , is Osteria al diplomatica maghera for cicchetti and wine, close at 9PM.please read my review for this wonderful eatery .
