We stayed a single night at Villa Adele, triple sharing. Our check-in time was 4:30 pm but due to a flight delay we reached only at half past eleven. By then we had communicated with receptionist lady at the stay (who speaks very fluent English) and she had made all arrangements for us to have an un-hassled check-in (reception is NOT open 24 x7). There is only one charging point in the room. Asians must carry a universal adapter because the plug point do not suit our gadgets. There was no wi-fi service when we checked in. Fresh and clean bed sheets, cozy beds and pillows, spic and span toilet, a small little balcony that overlooks the calm countryside road. Those who go after working hours of the hotel please consider and make arrangements for food/drinking water because both kitchen and reception are closed by then. Breakfast quite satiating and tasty. You can eat indoors or in a cute little green garden outside. The gentleman butler does not speak English but tries level best to make us feel comfortable. Hotel is very near to bus stop 6/6L (Do note it takes 15-20 minutes to reach Pl de Roma from where you have to take a vaporetto - water taxi/boat) to reach the canals where you can get a gondola ride). So plan an early exit in the morning to start your tour. Venice Mestre station is near to the hotel (by walk will take around 15 minutes though we took a taxi). Away from din and bustle of the city, I would definitely choose Villa Adele if I am to go to Venice again.
The place caters rather well to tourists wanting to visit Venice. It is conveniently located close to the train bus and tram stations and has a regular service for a short ride to Venice. The breakfast was good even for us vegetarians and they were kind enough to accomodate us with early check-in as well as an early breakfast the day we had to leave. Room is small but comfortable and the joint is well maintained.
The room is clean, quiet and the right size for 2 people with a cabin case and haversack. There's regular hot shower, nice water jet shower stall. Amenities like hand soap, body soap, shower cap, sanitary bags, toilet roll are provided. No toothbrushes or toothpaste but it's fine. The internet was scratchy and the staff are apologetic. They are very helpful and are well equipped to answer your queries. Housekeeping is done every day and the lady doing it is friendly and trustworthy😊 The bus stop to Venezia is just 3 min away and the bus comes often, there's also a night bus available from Venezia to the hotel, stopping on another side but still near the hotel. Lots of eateries around the hotel, all within 10mins of walking, pharmacy 5 min away. The best recommended , is Osteria al diplomatica maghera for cicchetti and wine, close at 9PM.please read my review for this wonderful eatery .
I would definitely recoment hotel for short stay. The only negative were ants, but we killed them and did not leave any fruits on the table. And also we were told that bus 15 goes to the airport from the stop which is near to the hotel. It was not true, so we almost missed our flight!!
It is a lovely small hotel on a quiet road and the service is excellent. Good and clean rooms and with all you need for breakfast. 100 meters from bus stop to Venice and plenty of restaurants in the area. The reception will advice you about transport, restaurants etc. and you can buy all kind of tickets to public transport.
Stopped here for three nights, it's a nice little place, the lady who greeted us up on our arrival was extremely pleasent and very helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. WiFi worked well. A continental breakfast was provided each morning. The only real downside for us was that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
A wee gem of a hotel. Staff are all personable and very friendly, nothing I'd any problem. The rooms are absolutely spotless and the bed are very comfortable. Continental breakfast and a plentiful coffee and fresh fruit dtinks. Ideally located for a short bus or tram ride into Venice's tourist area. I don't have any problem recommending this hotel.
Great little spot. Just around the corner from the bus stop that takes you directly to the vaporetto into Venice. Nice breakfast, nothing too elaborate, but fine for the day tripper. Rooms were cozy and clean with good air con. Grocery stores nearby. Some advice would be to make sure you either have GPS or printed google directions to get here. Not terribly confusing, but with traffic circles and one way streets, you may pass it a few times before you are able to pull in. We are a family of four and had two rooms. No complaints.
my wife and i stayed here in march 2017 really enjoyed it staff are nice rooms are big and clean sheets clean every day. most important is in the center of every thing ; walk to mestre station in 10 minutes, where you can get the train to Padova, basilica sant'Antonio and market on Saturday, tram outside. or Vicenza another beautiful town, best on thursday. tuesdays and saturdays there is a market in mestre ,just outside accross the road you can get the tram or bus ,6 or 6/ to venice or the othe way to panorama . num. 13 to big shopping centre ;nave di vero. the staff at hotel are just to happy to help . we've been to mestre many times this is the best for location . across mestre station under Bolognia hotel a set meal for 10 euros ,not much more for anything else.
We stayed at the Villa Adele for two nights in march, and really enjoyed it. The staff are friendly and try there best for you, the rooms are clean and well kept. We travelled from Treviso airport to the hotel, we took the number 6 bus from the airport it stops just outside on the main road, this cost us 2 euros each, then we took the train from Treviso station to the station in Venice, this cost us 3.40 each and in total the journey was only around hour from the airport to the hotel. Once you get off the train the hotel is a few minutes walk away. You can easily get the bus into Venice just down the road from the hotel for around 1.50 euros. We would say the hotel is in a really good place, you have buses and the train close by yet out of the way enough to relax. Really enjoyed our stay, we will be going back.
