One of the best moderate priced hotels I've ever been. Don't believe on those that say you have to stay near St Marks square, this hotel is 5 min away from the train station or Piazzale Rome and from there you can take transport to all the musts in Venice but with the advantage you are closer to the train station/airport
Locanda Ca' Lucrezia definitely is a fine boutique hotel conveniently located close to the train station. We stayed for three nights and we are glad we choose this amazing hotel. Good breakfast unforgettable mint fresh water every morning, delicious coffee and everything, the staff professional and kind. We definitely recommend this fantastic boutique hotel. We booked this hotel due to the location. It's great if you travel from the airport by bus or are getting on a cruise. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly. Would stay again if we were visting or cruising from Venice.
The hotel is near the train station, but tucked in the back of a small street. Just 5 min walk from the train station, but surprisingly quiet. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We had a room on the top floor, the room is not big but clean and beautifully done. Would definitely return again!
We stayed here with our toddler in March because it was reasonably priced and well located for the train station in one of our favourite districts, Cannaregio. It was easy to find, and remote check-in was easy. The room was light and spacious (if a little warm-despite having the air-con on max) and facilities were perfectly adequate. Breakfast was fresh and simple and sufficient to last us until lunchtime. We sat out in the little courtyard which was lovely. The hosts were brilliant and friendly. We would definitely stay here again in the cooler seasons!
This hotel is absolutely perfect about all we wanted. 2 mins walk from Train station nice spacious clean room spotless bathroom and staff so friendly thank you for all Claudia. Nice breakfast very good espresso so wow this Hotel deserves my 5 Score:))) I would definitely go again. It only takes 15 mins from Ca Lucrezia to reach Rialto Bridge and 30 mins to San Marco Square. I forgot to mention Kettle tea coffee and milk also provided in the room. (Nice surprise as very unusual in Italy).
we deliberately selected a hotel close to the station to make it easier to get around Venice. this was a good decision as the hotel is a short walk from piazalle Roma where the bus transfer from the airport dropped us on arrival. the hotel is situated on an alley walk through which proved to be quite noisy at night as the sound from the street below resounded loudly. our room on thesecond floor was comfortable but basic and the tea and coffee were not renewed in the mornings so although my friend did not use it, my morning tea on day 3 was without milk. breakfast was limited in choice and the tea /coffee machine in the breakfast room produced tea that was undrinkable although the coffee was good. on the plus side, the staff were friendly and accomodation. we were satisfied with the hotel as we felt the location was ideal for us and that is why we chose it. we slept on night 2 and 3 with the windows shut to reduce the noise from outside, an option open to us in late October on afew grey and cloudy days.
My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Given that Venice is very expensive and sleeping here can cost you a pretty penny, the price of this hotel is too high compared to the quality of our stay. It is very close to the train station and therefore very convenient. The stations for the public transport that takes you around the canals in Venice are just a minute walk away. As for the room it was clean and the in room bathroom was of a decent size. To get to the rooms there is no elevator. For us it wasn't a problem, but it could be challenging to climb the steep stairs if you are carrying heavy luggages. The conditions of the hotel and the rooms could be improved. Our bedspread had a visible tear in it and the windows were filthy. There are many pigeons on the island and you could see from the stains on the blinds that they hadn't been cleaned in while. It was quite disgusting to open them to let the light come in. The hotel offers breakfast... if we could call it that! It goes from 8 to 10, we went down at 8.30 to find only 2 croissants left and a few other things. For a completely booked hotel it was kind of scant. The girl at the reception was very welcoming. Reception isn't open 24 hours and after a certain hour if you need help with anything you will have to call and be connected to someone. Overall it is convenient for the location and if you plan to spend all your day around the city. If you are looking for comfort it would be better to book some place else.
The hotel is perfectly located and very accessible from the train station. You might almost even miss the street because it's that close to the station!! Room was quiet and clean! The shower could have been better but otherwise was a great room. Keep in mind there is no elevator so maybe ask for a room on the 1st floor if you are worried about carrying luggage up too many levels of stairs (you'll still have to climb some to the 1st floor). I know some reviews state the street is very noisy, I can't comment on this because we faced the courtyard, and it was very quiet. So maybe if you are worried about noise you can request a room not facing the street. Concierge staff were very helpful and friendly! The WIFI was somewhat spotty and sometimes dropped but nothing terrible. The hotel is not close to the major attractions so you will have to walk a bit. But on advantage is you won't have to pay to transport your luggage with this hotel, or carry it across numerous bridges. It worked out well for us but it may not be for everyone. Would come back again.
breakfast was rather modest, but it was)) room was comfortable, very quiet in the night. the hotel is located walking distance from Piazzale Roma. Lots of restaurants and shopping facilities nearby...
