We love Venice and always return to this hotel, it’s beautiful in every way and very traditional in style and ambiance. Each visit we have had lovely rooms some more spectacular than others (one up grade in particular), the staff never let you down and are both friendly and attentive. Each visit they remember us which is makes you feel like you are revisiting friends. Christmas Eve morning in the stunning breakfast room serenaded by a harp, wonderful meal in the Canova restaurant sets you up well for a very lovely Christmas. Why not 5 star this time, well I do like some comfortable chairs in our junior suite and this time round we only had table chairs so slightly disappointed - ( personal choice). Hope to see you again soon
Perfect from the moment we walked through the door and were greeted warmly on Christmas Eve. Every staff person was professional and personable. A plumbing issue in one of our rooms was responded to quickly and we were moved to a lovely room overlooking the Grand Canal. Rooms are spacious by European standards; bathrooms modern, with lovely products. Would come back here in a heartbeat!
We have been to the Baglioni in Venice before so we knew what to expect - hotel and in particular the staff as good as ever - service is utterly outstanding- nothing is too much trouble. Restaurant has great quality wines, outstanding staff who could not do any more to help and food great. Would highly recommend this hotel to all those visiting Venice also central location - KF
The Luna is in the ideal location, with its own landing stage and 50 metres from St Mark's Square. It has wonderful accommodation, a sumptuous bar and the most charming staff. We will certainly return.
Fabulous hotel! Amazing location literally across the street from St. Marks Square. Pricey but so elegant ! Morning breakfast is an experience! Step out the door to catch gondola or water taxi. Fab restaurants a few minutes walk away. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating! Can't wait to go back.
We arrived for our third visit in six years to be greeted by staff who treated us as old friends. From the moment we arrived our five day stay was first class. Superb breakfast in fantastic setting through to excellent sized comfortable bed we could not find fault. And just far enough from St Marks Square to miss the cruise ship crowds!
There are five star hotels, and then there are FIVE star hotels where nothing is left to chance, where you are made to feel genuinely welcome in a place that is so unique that it is impossible to remember hotel experience quite like it. Such is the Baglioni Hotel Luna. It is truly a special place, where nothing is made to feel like trouble, where the staff have a maturity that simply exudes excellence. This is a place were professionals work, and whilst they are at it, weave a magical indulgent experience that will bring you back, because everything else just became second best. Thank you.
We arrived on a unbearably hot day after battling thousands of tourists to find a calm peaceful lobby and welcoming staff. Although we had to wait until after 2 pm for our room it was a pleasant contrast to the chaos outside. Our room was large and overlooked a small canal. The bathroom was luxurious and very spacious for a European hotel. The only issue was we could hear noise from reception, however, this was a minor issue. Breakfast is served in a magnificent salon style room with Venetian art on the ceilings and walls. The hotel restaurant had good quality food but it is also good to explore restaurants in the many small laneways close to the hotel. The hotel is close to St Marks square but tucked away from the crowds in a small laneway.!Great location. August/September is very busy and it is hard to escape the hordes-it takes the edge off the charm of Venice. If I returned I would try a different time of year.
This Hotel is located right next to Venice top attractions. The hotel is very clean, staff are friendly, decent value for money. some of the rooms have amazing view on the canal and others have horrible view looking at neighbors windows.
I arranged a surprise 60th break for my wife at the Baglioni Hotel Luna. We were upgraded on arrival, and a complimentary bottle of champagne had been left in our room with the staff wishing my wife a special birthday. The hotel is amazing, literally only 20 yards from San Marco Square and some amazing shopping. All the staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for you. For example at breakfast my wife who has to avoid gluten was given complimentary bread, crackers, cakes etc. The staff were also happy to allow us to take out any gluten free items that she had not eaten for handy snacks when walking round Venice. Thank you for making my wifes birthday so wonderful.
