Bad customer service
The room was nice and clean no complaints. We had a view of the pool but it was closed. The surrounding area looks regular nothing spectacular, public transportation right in front. Restaurant on site and parking.
Room wasn’t the same as pictured and for this price I was expecting better place. Looks more like motel
Hidden Extra Fees for Parking. Extra security deposit at check in. (HOLD on Card) Breakfast Food was absolutely nasty and barely edible.
I wish they have a indoor pool so every time that I stay in Portland I would stay. It’s great hotel !!
There was no parking available at the hotel, all spots were full. Doesn’t seem like there was as many parking spots as guests the hotel would accommodate.
The staff was amazing. I was at my conference and completely spaced and forgot to check out. The staff ensured that my belongings were safe, and I was able to pick them up later for a fee. Thank you, University Place Hotel & Conference Center staff! Plus, the rooms were exceptionally clean, the noise level was low, and they even let our entire conference attendees check in early. Amazing place.

Location very convenient. Staff is very friendly. Wifi works well. Morning breakfasts v. good. It would be nice to have room service on more systematic basis. For instance every two days.

Walking distance to the river, restaurants, bars. Hotel was clean and quiet, staff was friendly and the beds are super comfy!

This hotel is in a perfect location if you need access to the university. Public transportation was easily accessed but the hotel has parking also. My room was very big and clean. Breakfast was wonderful. I will definitely stay here again.
