The hot tub was not operating, which was disappointing for a spring day in May in Vancouver.
Location to Rogers arena. Everything was great from the valet when arrived, the guys that brought the luggage to our room and the guy that checked us in were all very helpful and courteous. The only issue we had was the restaurant bar in the lobby. We stood there in dress attire and the servers ignored us. When we flagged down the guy in charge he asked if we had a reservation, when we said no he made ughh sound and said he would clean us off the smallest table he had even though the place was not full. I told him don’t bother and we turned around and walked out. The hotel itself and the hotel staff were great. The view was good, and the location only a few blocks from the arena can’t be beat. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
For a Westin Grand, I was expecting a higher end hotel compared to all the Westin's I have stayed in. I feel there should be an effort to restore the facilities.
Convenient location in the heart of Vancouver with easy access to any number of places to visit. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The salt water pool is great for all including little kids. Everyone on staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here!
