We booked the Presidential Suite for a night. The room was absolutely freezing when we walked in and after fighting with the two heaters we managed to get them turned on but it took all night for the room to reach a decent temperature. There were no spare blankets in the room and the electric fireplace in the living area did not work. Half of the light switches either did not work or were for some mysterious function we never figured out. Controls for the Jacuzzi Tub were located in the bathroom while the tub itself is located in the bedroom. One of the jet covers fell off when I was filling the tub, and only two worked with any kind of pressure. They boast a 26 item continental breakfast which turned out to be stale muffins, a non working waffle machine and a selection of aging lukewarm eggs, sausages, etc. In buffet warmers. The room was clean but that's as much praise as I can give. Front desk tells us it has been sold, so hopefully whoever takes over will solve the many issues.

We stayed 2 nights. The first night our room had holes in the walls and mould in the bathroom. We needed the hidabed also and I had to ask for clean sheets as I opened it up to find dirty sheets. The next day we discovered BedBugs! Adult ones and small ones. I was covered in bites and we found the bugs in 2 beds. We switched rooms for the second night. No bugs, but the second room was also very dirty. The inside of the fridge was mouldy and again I opened up the hidabed to find dirty sheets.

I stayed 3 nights at this location, my room was reasonably priced, breakfast was not bad ... more importantly, the room was clean! My only concern is that the GSA, when handing me my key announced my room number aloud, there were others in the Lobby at the time, for a woman traveling alone on business this is always a point of contention for me. I would only suggest that stricter policy and procedures be put in place, thus further ensuring guest safety. I would certainly stay here again.

Stayed on our way to Tofino recently. Left too early to take in breakfast. Gentleman on the desk was great in recommending an awesome Chinese food takeout spot. Room was comfortable and perfect for what we needed. $15 quite reasonable for a pet fee. We have paid double in some spots. We will stay here again if back in the area on business or when we travel to the island as a stop over from the BC Interior.

And Sadly not for the better. Rooms are nice but common areas are getting run down, especially when the are using packing clear tape at the threshold of the elevator to keep the carpet down.... Really??? Breakfast has warm options but is very forgettable, limp soggy hashbrowns patties, and flavorless sausage, at least they have real eggs but that's about the best part. This used to be a great choice in the area but now I have to re-evaluate that. Beds are moderately comfy room was fairly quiet, room does have a k-cup machine, probably the nicest feature in the rooms now. Speaking of not sure why closet door was removed in our room but it looks tacky without it Not a terrible stay but this place used to be so much more, and the desk staff previously were very outgoing, now they much different attitude than before.

We stayed one night here. Our check in was quick and the over all look of the lobby was good. Despite the fact that one side of the hotel was on a major roadway and the other sides were near Home Depot and Walmart the trees surrounding the hotel made the rooms very quiet. The room was clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. The breakfast was not the greatest. We ended up having to nuke the eggs and sausage as they were almost cold. Not sure why. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

The entrance to the hotel is very low key and almost looks like a back entrance. We were pleasantly surprised by the interior. There was complimentary coffee and cookies in the lobby. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There is lots of shopping and many restaurants within a 15 minute walk. Breakfast was good. I'd stay here again.

I was really disappointed with this hotel. The front lobby is modern and clean but the hallways & rooms are not. We had to request to change rooms because the first room we were given had such a strong smell of air freshener it was nauseating. The second room we were given wasn't much better. The linens were stained and worn through in spots. We would not stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel on Aug. 23 and 24th. visiting from Montreal. Good hotel, nice room, full delicious breakfast. Best part for us was the service from the front desk in particular from Cherry Len who went out of her way to help us to get some information for our airbnb that we were planning to stay at but we're having difficulty getting it on our computer. She spent a great deal of time with us and was so patient and kind, she never once showed impatience or indifference. For this we are so greatfull to her. She is a definite asset to this hotel. We would definitely stay here again. Patricia and Graham

We were thoroughly impressed with the service, the room, the Keurig coffee machine, even a fridge in the room. The bed was extremely comfortable. Everything about it was great. The breakfast was amazing! It was tucked away in a private little spot yet in the city center.
