The room we stayed in was facing the coal harbor with a great ocean view. Yes, we paid $6/per night more for the view, but it is definitely worth it)) the staff was very friendly and helpful. Will surely stay there again.
Great location, close to Canada Place, great clean room
Nice hotel. Very friendly staff. Awesome view of the waterfront and Stanley Park. Conveniently located.
Older hotel well located on privileged sea walk nice baseband close to restaurants
A bit older building so it comes with its nuances but overall well maintained. Kind of smallish though. Valet parking guys are predators, beware...! There is a weekend self parking right across for $6 but the valet charges are $35 at this hotel and even self parking is $33 and you pay everytime you take your car out... outrageous..! We were offloading our luggage and the valet guy wanted to rush us into giving our car to him for valet parking before we could notice the $6 all day self park parking at Marriott right across. Too bad, I noticed it and parked there instead.
Quick one night stay at Pinnacle Hotel. Accommodations were nice, clean and comfortable, and front desk staff were very courteous and helpful. The view was awesome. Proximity to the harbor-front, parks, and restaurants was great.
This was a great hotel in a fantastic location. We were within walking distance of most downtown attractions as well as the Criuse terminal.
Close to convention center and waterfront. Stoc was very courteous and helpful.
Pros Close to waterfront, Gastown & shopping Great fruit infused spa water by front desk Bellhops are super friendly! Cons Pricey and expected more for my money Uncomfortable double beds and pillows Old 1970 hairdryer 1980's looking carpet was dirty Dark hallways Slow elevators Very, very loud fan Old TV which would lose signal Happy Hour appetizers are only $5, but my son got about 10 nachos in his order. Hotel needs a makeover! We stayed at the Paramount Hotel in Seattle before arriving in Vancouver and it's a far cry from the wonderful experience at the Paramount.
Very nice hotel and location. In a very beautiful part of the city, can walk to everything. Bell desk staff very helpful. Would recommend they consider a Consierge for tourists.
The perfect hotel for a Vancouver stay. It's centrally located to everything - shopping, biking, dining, running. The rooms are huge and our view was unmatched. The lobby is gigantic, but welcoming (and smells great!); the workout area is very nice. Definitely will stay again.
Large crack in bath sink, sliding window wouldn't open. Elevator had missing buttons. When we valet the ar we were told to take all our personal items out as it wasn't safe parking garage. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would not stay there again.
Not impressed at all with this hotel & its staff. Breakfast buffet was eh & again the service was lacking.
Rated as a 4 star, but it's really a solid 3 star. Nothing extra about the room and it was small. The bathroom was small and barely had room for the toilet and one person. Carpet was not very clean. Was just not a luxury 4 star hotel. Disappointed in what we got as there were a number of other 4 Star choices at equal pricing. Only real positives were the view of the harbor and being close to the Canada Place.
My wife and I stayed for 3 nights on a business trip, the hotel was beautiful and the location was perfect. My only complaint us that the wifi was a nightmare. Constantly we were kicked out of the system and to business travelers this service is key.
I must be missing something about what it takes to get 4 stars. For me that's above average. This hotel had ups and downs that in my view "averaged out". "UPs": very friendly and helpful staff. Suggested and I accepted a harbor view for an extra C$30/day. Room was large and clean. Location perfectly for Gastown and Stanley Park. Actually walkable to Granvillle Island. "Downs": no mini-fridge or microwave. PPE, especially carpeting, was a bit past expiration date. Design looked like a '90s effort at a '60s retro. Hotel claims "spectacular views all around". That's a huge exaggeration. The harbor view I had was fine but nowhere near spectacular. Peeked between two highrises across the street. I can only imagine the city view consists of looking Into the side of the hotel across the street. But that's a guess. The harbor view room was touted as having a balcony. It did, but not the kind you sit out on and relax watching the harbor activity. First - no chairs. Second - the balcony was really pointless; a concrete slab extended about 3 feet outward from room's usual door for the width of the room. Really added nothing to what would have been accomplished by having a railing against room's sliding doors. Good and bad: right across from seaplane dock. Great convenience for tours but they rev up around 07:00. All in all this was fine and not bad at C$220/day. But not in my view a 4 star experience.
We enjoyed our stay, but found the quality of support from the staff to be mixed. My wife had something shipped there and they sent it back to FedEx and then weren't helpful later on in getting it for her when it was eventually sent back. Otherwise, they were pleasant and the small room was fine.
We stayed at this hotel after our cruise. We got there early and were able to check in right away. Great location! We walked to Stanley Park and took the Skytrain to Chinatown and Gastown. The only complaint we have is that the a/c was loud and not good for light sleepers.
Very well-positioned for anyone wanting to stay near the convention center. Walkable to restaurants, bars, etc. Very nice staff and a decent restaurant.
Only complaint is WiFi is 15$ a day when you can easily get it for free at the convention center or Starbucks right down the block
