This hotel is in very good location and the room is quite large. Even the decoration is not great but we like the space and cleanliness.

The hotel is at a good location for me and a reasonable price during a busy weekend. It has good facilities including pool and gym but I didn't have time to enjoy them. There are also good restaurants in the neighborhood.

The two men at the check-in counter were painfully slow so that took forever. The mattress was rock hard and the sheets slipped all over when you moved, no padding....couldn't sleep but a few hours that night. Parking lot is a bit of a wrangle...plus you have to pay to park there! Ugh.

Check-in process is smooth and efficient. The room is spacious. clean but this is a somewhat old hotel.

i was very disappointed with this hotel. Not clean, no service, far from airport.

Rude greedy dishonest people! I implore you to try someplace else.

Very easy and quick check in. We were on vacation in the Vancouver area for 3 days. We got a great rate. Hotel was very clean. Beds soft and comfortable. Good location to sky train for cheap transport into Vancouver downtown. Only 15 min drive to north Vancouver. Parking was not included in initial price but very cheap overnight rates compared to downtown hotels. Gym and pool amenities at no extra cost. Free wifi. One negative is you could not use room phone for local calls only in hotel calls for free. You could make calls but at a dollar a call. Being from the US and not having a cell phone with an international plan did make it a little annoying however we did use free WiFi to research firsy and keep calls to a minimum. Would highly recommend. great experience overall.

Great place! Very good price! The hotel is older, but very clean and our room had a seating area with large couch and separate bedroom. Our room also had a fridge, freezer, microwave and kitchensink. Can not judge the restaurant in the hotel - we did not eat there. To explore downtown Vancouver we left the car at the hotel and took the Skytrain ('Gilmore' station just across the street) about 20 min to 'Waterfront' station. Overall great bargain.

Aside from a great visit from my daughter, the hotel was less than inspiring. Believe they missed the call when the late 70's called and wanted their decor back. The elevator was tired to say the very least. In the end, it was a warm dry place to lay ones head for a few hours on a dark dreary spring monsoon in Burnaby.

Good location, room was clean, the conference brings in lots of traffic. You have to pay to park there, expect an extra bill at the end.

Not bad for a short notice getaway. Price was a little on the high side but since we weren't able to find any thing in Vancouver of surrey it was a good option. About 20 minutes from Stanley park/ aquarium and about the same to the greater Vancouver zoo (oppisite way) which were two things we planned on doing on our trip. All in all we were pleased with our stay.

The hotel was in Burnaby a little far from Downtown Vancouver, however it was nice to come to our room after a long day of doing touristy stuff. It was a relaxing atmosphere, we had a nice jacuzzi tub, separate couch area and a huge bed to sleep in. We took advantage of the pool and jacuzzi area one night, like I said after a long day of being tourists. Two things I didn't necessarily like; parking is six dollars per night plus tax and some other random fee. As if I'm not already paying six hundred dollars+ on a room, I think parking should be included. Second, they provided some silver wear and dishes in our room, some of which were dirty to begin with. Overall nice hotel room, bad parking fee, okay location.

Because we bought a package no discount was given for the room change. Or for the necessity due to a foul smell in the room to move any concession given to me

We previously stayed at a hotel on robson in downtown vancouver, although both the location and the view where amazing, the costumer service and overall feel of the hotel did not compare to the executive. We traveled to vancouver for a long weekend, mostly for night life, shopping and dinning. We took the train to downtown vancouver, quick 20min ride and the station was just a couple of blocks from the hotel. In all the executive hotel was great, large rooms w/ everything you need from a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker etc. we even got a jacuzzi in our room! The only reason it doesn't get 5 starts is the bed/ matress was somewhat hard.

The hotel was rated as 3 stars, but seemed more like 4. The room was well apportioned and the bed was most comfortable. The location was near the Skytrain and shopping, plus convenient to Simon Fraser University, where my son's soccer team was playing.

Probably 20+ years ago the hotel was in top 10. Now it looks old. However rooms are spacious with balcony and jacuzzi and everything works. Our room had 2 separate sections (living and bedroom) with 2 TV sets and kitchenette with microwave, fridge and some kitchenware so if you may cook or warm-up your food in the room. There were much more amenities which we have no chance to explore. Hotel personnel was helpful. There are few restaurants around. It takes 10-15 min. walk to nearest SkyTrans station and 20-30 mins to Vancouver downtown. I would recommend the hotel for people with kids and for a long stay.

The hotel is located near several resturants and across the street from the SkyTrain. The staff is polite and helpful, the hotel resturant very good, but beyond that if you were looking for a stay at a hotel that felt new and comfortable, this isn't it. The room decor is dated, the carpet was worn (to the point where the carpet tacks between the room and bathroom came up through the carpet. Tile in the room was chipped, grout yellowed with age. To get in and close the door in the bathroom required standing between the sink and the toilet in a 8 inch space as the door swung all the way to the toilet itself. In a standard room with a foldout couch, only one TV existed - in the bedroom. This prevented any practical use of the couch and that entire area. The TV reception was fuzzy at best, movies priced more than a ticket to a nearby theater. There was only one elevator on the far side of the building from where my Room was located - and that was also where the ice was. I could go on listing the faults of the room but will stop by saying it was a barely average room in a seemingly average hotel for an above average price in a convenient location.

They do charge extra for parking, but since that was the only extra charge on my bill the manager comped it when we checked out

the building seemed little old but the interior was fine.
